It definitely fits well onto MAYHEM! I do think it could take off as well when the music video drops. I definitely like the production of this and I do think it’s gonna be sold with a live performance and interested to see how it’s used within Wednesday itself. The highs of MAYHEM i have 6 month or so of being familiar with those so I can’t judge too quickly how I’d rank it amongst the other album tracks! I will say that to the general public I think this is more within their lane it’s probably more straight forward than both Disease and Abracadabra!

I don’t know about the end of the album! Maybe it’ll be on the album but within the track list like after Zombieboy?

Didn’t see a thread for this so thought I’d make one for us to share some thoughts here. Now we’re in September how do we think Jades debut album will fare on the UK charts and how much longevity do we think she’ll manage to get?! I was hoping for a #2 debut (behind Ed) but I’m now feeling like she’s gonna end up in the top 5 (possibly behind Sabrina too!) but I’d still say that would be a success. I honestly don’t feel she’ll drop like a complete stone after and think she could get at least a second week top 40 and possibly more with her tour and I think she’ll do quite a lot of promo too.

I’ve now pre-ordered the signed edition on Amazon of the CD!

I think he’ll do around 80-90k personally for week one! But I wouldn’t be completely shocked if he did similar numbers to Sam Fender and he broke 100k. I think there could be more formats to come and some promo lined up too. I’d say there’s a lot more hype for this album too (maybe on the level of the = album?).

It’s currently inside the top 40 again on the Monday update!! Guessing this is solely just based off the tour announcement as well!

Is Ariana just as a result of the London shows announcement or has a new format been released?

I still feel like The Fame Monster era and the period of VMAs 2010 is the complete peak in terms of commercial appeal and her being the absolute number one act on the planet across entertainment. Meat Dress Gaga, Born This Way announcement, The Fame / The Fame Monster dominating the charts! All that and still pretty much a debut artist it was a real stratospheric kind of level of fame! The Monster Ball was also like gigantic in terms of being a debut tour. I think she’s achieved massive success since like Born This Way was a huge success, A Star Is Born was also a massive success too and probably her next biggest success in a sense as it was a completely different side to her and showed her longevity as an act. ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica also all did well to an extent. Not peak level Gaga fame but more due to the eras not going as planned! Joanne I’d say deserves more credit as it did give us The Super Bowl which was a major event for her! MAYHEM had potential and still does to continue smashing! I think we could’ve had one single to tide us from Abracadabra until now but the summer shows and the tour have had major acclaim! Here’s hoping Wednesday s2 and The Dead Dance makes MAYHEM era continue! The streaming era has been kind to Gaga’s as of late though so I feel like there’s still more moments to come from her! But 2010 I think will forever remain the absolute peak year as she was just unstoppable in every sense. I don’t think an international female had what Gaga had that year until Taylor’s eras tour.

This album celebrated its 20th anniversary during the week! Her social hashtags on her latest posts have had #R20. I wonder if she’s gonna re release some of her past albums on updated formats / vinyls starting with Music Of The Sun or (possibly) a Greatest Hits album looms!

Hoping that the MAYHEM era does continue with a bang from September 3 onwards and that’s the start of it reentering the chart!

I’m hoping that the next era actually does offer something different. With Radical Optimism I still don’t think the album was that much different from Future Nostalgia! I think we may get it in 2027 though! She’s been very busy on tour and she’s a perfectionist too! Maybes some collabs in 2026 to feed us before the next era fully launches.

I also wasn’t blown away by the first listen and found it to be quite similar throughout! I’ll give it another chance but there’s not much that jumped out to me but I’d say House Tour and Goodbye are my highlights. I still think it’ll be a success for her though maybe not on the scale of Short and Sweet but I think it’s easily gonna be another #1 for her and I think shes an exception where she’ll manage a post album smash. I hope after this era and the promotional cycles done she takes a break and comes back with something different though! I think she has it in her to do as she’s pretty clued up and smart. I’d love her to use her vocals more effectively like in a Christina Back to Basics esque way.

A while since I did an update on this! Still going strong inside the UK top 100 albums chart! #69 this week and now on 289 weeks on the top 100! Should reach 300 weeks in November!

I expected the midweek release! I just hope it’s used in the show itself in an effective way (or just used full stop)!! Really hope It’s a viral moment for her But I’m hyped non the less for a new Gaga single and video! The song and video dropping at the same time is also good news so hopefully another solo hit is on the way!

I’ll be trying for London! Hoping to attend and hoping I can persuade someone to come with me for the trip as well! Nervous however! Never seen her before but she’s so high up on my list of people I’ve wanted to see and the eternal sunshine album is now probably my favourite of hers so now really is the time ❣️. Wondering if these are all the dates so far? Maybe there may be one or two extra shows for London but it does seem like Londons the sole venue for Europe!

London being the sole European shows!! I absolutely need to get tickets for this I’ve still never seen her live!

Either way whatever it is we get I’m hyped that we’re at least getting a new Gaga single and music video! Would love for the rumour to be true that said Garden of Eden and Zombieboy feature and that it’s a short film but I’m now seeing a rumour that says The Dead Dance has two videos one in colour and one in black and white! I wonder how significantly it’s gonna be used in Wednesday given it’s not on that soundtrack as of yet (but maybe it is on that soundtrack and it just isn’t showing yet because it hasn’t been announced fully).

This incoming chart week is likely gonna be similar to this week and then from w/c 29th August hopefully we’re on the rise!

I wonder if it’s that she’s announcing Dead Dance officially herself? I mean we all know it’s coming but I don’t think she’s ever mentioned it directly herself. I wonder if she’ll announce it the garden tonight!

Four tracks now remain and the tie breaker has resulted in quite a clear result!! We’re now getting to the exciting stages of the rate! What’s My Name a fellow UK number one single has now left the game exiting the tie breaker with 7 of the ten votes in that round! As always keep voting for the least favourite track what’s still in the game and we’ll advance to the semi final next round!

I really wanted to snap them up but I’m on holiday tomorrow!! If there’s another drop in September I might snap them up but I still don’t have a vinyl player as of yet 😆! Oh Godga and the power she holds over me. Gaga mania has stated that there’s 7 left of The Fame / The Fame Monster pressings. Looks like they’re selling the original Fame album and the Monster EP as a whole package so for the charts it’ll still be combined!

Yesss!! Hopefully a boost is incoming! LoveDrug is my biggest grower of the album a gorgeous song that I’m paying a lot more attention to now!
