Definitely keep streaming and purchase (there are three iTunes editions the ICON edition and the FILM edition) especially with the England match and football related tracks likely to dominate we need to ensure it sneaks in the top 40!

I think it could be nearer 50k should those figures be true? I guess we’ll have a figure confirmed by OCC tomorrow for the midweeks but if those are true it’s likely it might’ve already passed Madame X and Rebel Hearts week one total with Sunday streams / downloads / sales.

Really good streams obviously the album itself is incredible but I wonder if the album title helped out the streams as well in a good way? A great tactic of getting people on board and wanting to listen who otherwise my not have been as hyped.

The titles are all interesting actually! But never got over me based off title is hopefully the “feral” moment.

Excited for Mondays midweeks now! I’ve waited a while for this kind of Madonna impact. What a triumph.

I can half see this being her Padam Padam type hit now. A one where it gets some kind of viral moment and the gays and theys push so that the GP end up hearing it.

Danceteria hopefully coming for an official chart placement. Would be crazy successful for a Madonna era to have two top 40 singles to its name (especially with one of them being solo)

I still wish Celebration had these sales and hope in time her team will switch. I know MJs team did so between Number Ones and Essential. However im just glad that Madonna now has a “hits” album charting the way many of her peers have for some time now it’s been long overdue and with Confessions II and her being more visible I think it might now become a chart staple.

This has so many valid points and I couldn’t have worded this better. The only thing I’d controversially say is I feel like Madame X was an album maybe not executed well but it was for me her best body of work since Confessions 1.0. I think Hard Candy through to Rebel Heart had more of a she was chasing trends and not following them and it felt more focused on trying to maintain commercial success than fully boundary pushing. But this album is like a return to form she was definitely inspired!

#1 on the UK Apple Music STREAMING chart!! This is a great sign this is actually getting streams?!?! 🤩 EDIT: Seen I was beaten to it but still wow at this. I honestly thought this might show up at like #10 maybe on first day hype but not #1!

The ICON edition is cheaper on iTunes for anyone who wanting a digital copy (and has an extra song too and better artwork)! And that’s my push for extra sales!

3 Lions will get big streams this week especially with the coverage of the games being shown in pubs etc (although it’s a tricky game let’s say with the altitude in Mexico so on paper it’s not likely to go England’s way). Rein Me In over 3 Lions!

I think we could be pleasantly surprised at the streams for this my entire male follow list on socials seem to be playing or discussing the album?! I’m definitely seeing a lot of traction for this on socials (I mean it is accounts I follow) but I don’t think I’ve seen posts like this for an artist as far into their career as what Madonna is for some time?! I truly feel like the hype is genuinely here this time around outside the core Stan base.

Bookmark this but this album is going to give her another GRAMMY win.

There’s so much to take In for this album and I’m still not even finished yet!! This is gonna take so many listens to fully absorb and take in but I’m genuinely blown away by how intricate and produced it is and how it’s genuinely nothing like Confessions 1.0! Still reinventing and pushing boundaries this is a real return to form that’s all I can say for now.

I know reviews are personal opinion and the albums are very different but how do these reviews compare with her 2010 albums? I seem to remember Madame X actually getting strong press reviews (and it is my favourite of her last decade albums) but just curious to know.

This seems to be the song everyone’s talking about. I do think it could go semi viral for her potentially?!?! It sounded like a hit in the making from the section played on the film.

I was hoping stupid song would get Olivia another chart topper sad it’s going in the other direction! Hopefully 3 Lions doesn’t get too high yet! And that Gracie stays top 40 with Look at my life.

I’ve tried not to be too confident regarding Madonna’s chances here! I’ve not got much idea about Siennas paid for sales but I think Madonna has a lot more variations of her album which will definitely help and because she’s more established she has the multi buy effect too (like I have two copies and I’m downloading the album too so that’ll be 3!)! Maybe a separate thread for Madonna vs Sienna could be an idea as I’m actually intrigued as to what people think on this one. I’d say Myles Smiths album might be a rough idea on how Sienna could do perhaps?

Kylies definitely racked the number one albums up here in the 2020s decade! I think Kylies perhaps more endearing and people have more goodwill towards her but I think Madonna still has a solid hardcore fan base and when she gets it right she truly gets it right. Madonna’s definitely bigger though although that’s more overall. I think this Madonna album is about as hyped as what Kylies DISCO era was possibly?

The album before Come on Over (The Woman In Me) is also pretty decent too. I really feel like her health issues, Lyme disease and her being completely stripped of her voice in what was a peak period for her truly made us lose out on so much! But I’m happy she’s thriving, looking great and I do think her voice is decent these days too she sounded really good in Vegas early last year. Hope the album gives her another top 5 here in the UK (I’d say #1 but she’s against Charli in week one)!

Really enjoyed the releases so far. Look at my life is another great track! I think this album is off to a great start so far!
