i think it makes an important impact to debut top 10, but the song doesn’t need it. i also think it can get back there with time. it’s already very impressive to be within reach of top 10 without the physicals and without a music video - who would have predicted that? also can’t forget that it was a very competitive week to release; especially, for female pop singers. she would have debuted top 10 and probably with higher streams if released the week prior. the song is already stable and top 10 on AM but should have no issue increasing on spotify again as it grows on HHUK. music video today and extended mix, vinyls and cassettes still to ship. just a shame that taylor will wash her far out of the top 50 on spotify today - timing hasn’t been her friend :)

yikes at them still not playlisting Maneskin. as an act, they are literally perfect for R1. they have an authentic rock ‘edge’ and multiple viral songs. not to mention a massive social media presence already. the early global success is completely undeniable and transcends anything that eurovision hype alone could garner. what are they waiting for? I’d understand snubbing the cover of Beggin’ and their eurovision entry as that isn’t in english, but wanna be your slave is a no brainer to add to the playlist and has been for weeks. now that it’s top 10 on the UK official chart I don’t understand what the hold up is.
