    I totally agree with this, it's not about peoples opinions it's how people put them across by saying others opinions are wrong then some sort of personal comment, but everybody does it, even me sometimes. I think when people read something it can be taken the wrong way so easily. All we all need to do is think about what we are putting and how it might come across.

    And this can be the perfect ending to this :thumbup:

    I'm sorry if I may sound a bit disrespectful here but my post wasn't a pointless argument starter at all! I generally don't post things with ulterior motives etc etc and it was only an opinion just like everyone elses. It's not like i'm going around saying straightforwardly GA are great, The Sats are trash. I think I had some valid points in my post! I thought of it as that but evidently it came across differently. Also, I think there are some posts where artists or songs get described negatively to such an unnecessary extent that it actually would and could bring about arguements from fans of that particular artist or song being in a way degraded like that, just the tone in general I would see as pointless and that bringing about pointless arguements! Rather than my posts every here and there. .

    True, now lets really move on. This is the itunes thread and on the chart we can find 120 songs :D

     

    BTW just to let people know: we do have a Saturdays Forum and also a GA Forum where you can debate your favourite artists! ;)

    I'm sorry but i'm going to have to speak out now. Everybody has an issue when I post something negative about a song or have a view on something but when it comes to every second person complaining about U2 or Eminem nobody has a problem with it! That is a bit hypocritical and unfair. On top of it nobody apologizes to me for generalising me as a GA loon where I have very varied taste and won't just hate a song or group without a very good reason. I actually feel the need to feel sorry for myself now, so if you'll excuse me while I listen to 'No Good Advice' ..

     

    I hate to argue but now I will defend myself.

     

    I'm a moderator here not a Saturdays fan, GA fan etc.. Since pages this thread is about the new saturdays song and also some pointless arguments. Kath you said it a couple of times that you don't like it. That's fine. The problem what I see is that it creates pointless arguments (not just your post though) with those who love the new song and in the end it gets to personal attacks.

     

    So once more I have personally no problem with negative opinions (I don't like this that etc) but don't create pointless arguments.

    I've also noticed that you can praise acts like The Saturdays and post lots of cheer's and woot's and no one cares. However you post a couple of negative messages you either 1) get called a jealous Girls Aloud loon or 2) get told to move on.

     

    I've never seen anyone told to move on for constantly arse-licking a song!

    I think that was a bit unfair to the chart mods. A lot of times people were warned (!) for constantly spamming (I like this and that, pointless posts) so please don't be harsh. The other thing we can't be here 24 hours long and check back 20 pages of the itunes thread. It's really difficult. I do think my fellow chart mods do a great job here and we have a pretty good chart forum here on BJ but it's always easier to criticise.

    Well The Sats are stalling. Where if GA did JCGE it would probably be at #1 now and be covered a million miles better. Flo Rida's song could've also been a better comic relief single lolz, it's sampled enough to be a cover aswell. Oh well, Comic Relief's loss . .

    Kath we all know now that you hate JCGE can we move on now? :rolleyes:
