  1. I'm going to have to think about this one . . . love both. Gwen I like dancing to more, but The Gossip kicks in the car. *goes away to think*
  2. Wind it Up - Harajuku Lovers live version, from the album . . . does anyone know if this version exists anywhere else as a studio recording as opposed to live? I've tried to find it on the net but can't see it anywhere. Is it on the physical single?

Russt, do you have a large version of your image before you put the wording on? I know this is going to sound a bit forward / cheeky but would you let me have a version of it? I recently got a new PC and I've left the standard desktop on it because I haven't seen anything that I think is fittingly good enough to be the wallpaper. I would love to have this image on there . . . it is astounding. I know you don't know me from Adam, and I don't know if you feel you could trust me not to plagiarise it, but you could put your name/watermark on it if you like. I just love it. I would love to see it on my screen

I do not know the history or details, and have only picked this up from Tyler's post in the 'what made you sad today?' thread. I did not have the chance to get to know Kelly, but she was a large presence here and from a distance I felt I could understand where she was coming from. I agree with both Mark and Vic, she will leave a huge hole here and it is strange to think that I'll never again see the sweep of Kelly's posts that used to flush through my screen like a virus check. I am quite shocked. This is really sad. She will be missed :manson:

Well done for posting. It takes a bigger person to turn it around
  10. :hi: ICR Is this where you live?
  11. OFAH is a classic imo. Although it hung around for a little too long, in it's day it was fresh, very well observed and well scripted. In places was both funny and touching, not many programmes manage to do that. It had a lot of guts. Surely it becomes a classic because it was so of it's time, a piece of social commentary and part of the heritage? Oh, and Dangermouse is also a classic  *from the David Jason Appreciation Society*

Matt, I've been really impressed by how your design skills have developed. I gave you 10 last week, not only because of your interpretation and the layout, but partly in recognition of the amazing progress you've made. ^_^ Don't be disheartened.

Talking of other directors, I would quite like to see this . . . me!!! you should see my vid that i created especially for youtube!!! lol
  20. It's an interesting subject but I don't really have the knowledge in this context. But I remember hearing about research into a 'cancer gene', so some people who smoke all their lives but don't have the cancer gene don't get cancer. I still think most things in life are both nature and nurture. I saw a programme once where identical twins were separated at birth and when they were re-united their lives had been like a mirror of one another. We're just complex beings . . . and all the better for it ^_^
  21. It is a sad fact that as human beings often what we fear in ourselves, whatever that may be, we project outwards, make separate, detached and 'other' and then demonise it.
  22. Without getting into the whole debate, we already know there are such things as recessive genes that produce different eye colour, hair colour etc. in offspring
  23. I came back in especially just to read what Janet Jackson's nipple had to say on the matter
  24. That was my attempt at innuendo V V, but I obviously didn't pull it off
