Whats the best ever Depeche Mode song?
:D Not my problem! The CD yes, if you already have the singles collections then the only new 'teaser' track is Martyr, but it is so worth it for the video collection alone.

Whats the best ever Depeche Mode song?
Couldn't possibly pick a best song . . . Album - Violator Compilation / live album - 101 DVD - Touring the Angel (re-live it again and again) (Although this list pre-dates the release of Best of Vol 1 (DVD/CD set). If it was in I maybe would've had to think longer)

Depeche Mode - Best of
Best vid - In Your Room. Although torn with Walking in My Shoes, In Your Room cleverly references previous DM periods Best director - Corbijn, corbijn, corbijn Best Corbijn direction - Barrel of a Gun. Brilliantly edgy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why was this topic so tucked away? DM deserve a lot more attention!

Cover Design Competition
I'm no expert but are you trying to do it from your own PC files? You need to upload your image onto the web first then paste the string into the http line that comes up when you click the image button. Well that's how I do it

Cover Design Competition
http://www.freewebs.com/debsweb/kelis%20tweak.jpg This week, I have mostly been using the dodge tool  Russt, sabby, djcharly  *edit* I have tweaked mine a bit. It was supposed to look like reflections on water, but I didn't really pull it off

[Soundclash #9] Kelis vs. Snow Patrol
The Kelis track does nothing for me, although it seems I'm swimming against the tide.

Gilbert & George
Well it's definitely art but i struggle with the definitions of 'good art' 'bad art' . . . art is, well, for art's sake. Without knowing too much of their stuff, although I recall them from their Turner Prize days, they seem to draw from a lot of influences, from the Surrealism / Dadaism of artists such as Salvador Dali, through the Pop Art of Andy Warhol, and contemporary graphic design and have no doubt had some influence on other contemorary artists themselves. Art . . . pretentious? ^_^

9/11: The Conspiracy Theories
I watched it and had seen some of the theories before, some I hadn't, like the anti-semetic ones. Many seemed OTT and used it to back up their own fears, paranoias and prejudices . . . but I have never been able to shake off the belief that America allowed it to happen.

As a compromise, could entries be PM'd and Mikey post them as and when he gets them in, or in daily batches? That way entries would keep most of their anonymity and although it would create some extra work for Mikey we would also get a pre-amble throughout the week.

Mika - Life in cartoon motion
Oh well. At least i'm not the only one :D

Mika - Life in cartoon motion
There is no need for that. I was just expressing an opinion -_-

Mika - Life in cartoon motion
I am loving this too  I was also urged to buy the album by reading this board, after playing Grace Kelly for weeks but not fully committing, so thanks for the reviews I was stuck on Lollipop, Happy Ending and Any Other World, but then fell in love with Big Girl and Love Today. Relax is now buzzing 'round my head. Future dance remixes could be fantastic :D The whole album hangs together really well, threaded with the narration it really flows. Best album i've bought this year, after Amy Winehouse's Back to Black. I would thoroughly recommend it, and thanks again to BJ for encouraging a purchase :cheer:

Some great ideas :) Very difficult choice. 10...B 9.....H 8.....A 7.....E 6.....K 5.....G 4.....F 3.....D 2.....M 1.....J I think PM'ing entries is a good suggestion. Seems to be working well in the sig/blend competition in the graphics forum.

Jim Carrey - the number 23
Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard of the film so i shall watch out for it. I love Jim Carrey and have seen him do the whole range from early Ace Ventura, Mask days to Bruce Almighty, Lemony Snickett and everything in between. He has a darker side, as in Cable Guy, the Truman Show and my all time favourite Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which is a brilliantly crafted, scripted and acted film. I shall definitely watch out for this :)
