snowbaby

just thought i'd pop in to say well done for winning best dance track . . . and for beating depeche mode's 'suffer well' :( . . . but i'm not a sore loser! CONGRATS :cheer:

here's mine. i know and like the song this week, which helps :) http://www.freewebs.com/debsweb/snow%20patrol%20cover.jpg

thanks mark :) i know you've pointed me towards last.fm previously. i just need to get my head round it! i am relatively new to the digital revolution

THANKS! actually, the graphics section is the best i've seen. it is quite a gem on here. you should be really proud of how the site has grown :)

well that's why i thought i'd ask, but it must be pretty silly cus it got a

thanks. i might PM you then, if that's ok, as my lack of knowledge is a bit embarrassing :(

Hi I was wondering if someone could give me, or point me in the direction of, an 'idiot's guide' to personal charts, last.fm etc. i have read the help guides that have been posted up but am still very confused  As it doesn't look like there's gonna be a depeche mode forum i don't really have anywhere to call home on here, and that just leaves me dropping in randomly to threads . . . . . . i thought maybe if i understood how to take part in the personal charts and stuff like that at least it'll help me settle in and gives me something to hang around for . . . thanks to anyone who takes the time to help :)

:cheer: i'm glad this one won. it was my 2nd fave

this is the first time i have ever heard anyone sing the word 'fate' as 'fay-yeurggghhhhh'

I LIKE the pointless rambling

Any Other World is a beautiful track  In any other world You could tell the difference And let it all unfurl Into broken remenance Smile like you mean it And let youreself let go Cos its all in the hands Of a bitter bitter man Say goodbye to the world You thought you lived in Take a bow Play the part Of a lonely lonely heart Say goodbye to the world You thought you lived in To the world you thought you lived in I try to live alone But lonely is so lonely So human as I am I had to give up my defences So I smile and try to mean it To make myself let go Cos it's all in the hands Of a bitter bitter man Say goodbye to the world You thought you lived in Take a bow Play the part Of a lonely lonely heart Say goodbye to the world You thought you lived in To the world you thought you lived in Cos it's all in the hands Of a bitter bitter man Say goodbye to world You thought you lived in Take a bow Play the part Of a lonely lonely heart Say goodbye to the world You thought you lived in . . . To the world you thought you lived in In any other world you could tell the difference

i agree scissor sisters, and he himself references freddie mercury in grace kelly, but honestly, if you listen, some of the vocals are a bit robbie-ish here and there, and a couple of the tracks sound like they could've been part of Take That's frothy comeback :D :D :D

 got it today. lollipop is inspired and happy ending has the makings of a monumental love song. there are A LOT of influences in it. is it just me or do some of his vocals have a touch of robbie?

i'm not doing very well :( thanks for the sympathy vote tho mikey! :D

. . . and the contestants would have to hunt for things that dale gave them clues to Dale: " i am smashing and i'm orangey, though i'm not a fruit. i often get confused with a biscuit, though i am really a cake. what am i? "

of course. all are tragic examples of people not getting the appropriate help they really need.

10 - M - L - J - I - B - O - C - A - D 1 - H well done EVERYONE :cheer:

it shall be the highlight of my evening :D

thanks for letting me know :) do you know when the deadline is?

does a top 10 get posted up somewhere then so we can vote?

that kind of emotional blackmail is more at home in the valentine's day topic thread :D :D :D

do you think beginner's luck is going to count ??? :D
