  1. Don't close it . . . I'm coming. I'm coming . . .
  2. They covered this on BBC news and suggested he could re-release 'Let it Bean' and 'Love, Love Me Brew'.
  3. snowbaby posted a post in a topic in 20th Century Retro
You should come and play with me in the lounge more often tigerrrrrrrrrr, instead of staying at home in the Culture Box and Retro where you are blatantly under-valued and unappreciated.
  4. Me too. Once I'd seen (definitive mafia film) Goodfellas I never bothered with them.
  5. I wanted to go to this but they sold out :(
  6. Many people just won't understand your passion for art and design darling. It's not your problem.
  7. I didn't take it as you being narky about this, I perceived it as you having passion for it . . .
  8. That's actually really good, and funny. It's how Brian Potter would've had it designed!
  9. . . . and your result is great! I think your idea is even cleverer now that I know you don't know the characters or the context!
  10. I have totally fallen in love with this. And the Tom Neville remix kicks ass.
  11. Yeah, I was thinking I could send them a copy of the DVD to see if I could guilt them into it!
  12. $h!tty update . . . Apparently the woman at EMI was just quoting what it WOULD cost - she hadn't actually approached Artist Management. Today I've got an e-mail to say they refused the use of it. This is quite annoying, as I have edited the whole piece to fit to the music. It will work without the music - but I don't think it will have quite the same impact. I don't really have the time to choose another track and re-edit the whole thing. I am thinking of opening it up to individuals / voluntary groups who make music to see if they could score it for me - and in return I would give them the £100 EMI would've got if they're a voluntary group, or donate it to a charity of their choice if it is an individual. What do you think? Bit upset/annoyed about the Coldplay thing. And why didn't the stupid EMI person make the request initially instead of quoting terms and costs first and getting my hopes up? ffs.
  13. Thanks for posting this, this is excellent. I had heard the Nouvelle Vague version on an advert but did not know who it was or where it had come from. My understanding is that Depeche Mode themselves are sick of Just Can't Get Enough as it is no longer reflective of their current work. I understand that they only include it in their live set when they tour as a crowd pleaser for their die-hard fans (and it so is - they put a lot of energy into it, and so does the crowd) I must admit at the moment I am loving the Nouvelle Vague version and so have voted for that, but I very much doubt I would be as interested as I am in it without the DM connection, so I also voted for MUTE. You have a wonderful knack of bringing beauty to my eyes, tiger. This has made my morning. x
  14. Oh yeah. Thanks. That's why.
  15. Is this the actual cover ???????? Seriously though, how can anyone get anywhere near that? It's perfection.
  16. Considering Bill Gates' agenda that's not so out of this world.
  17. Nelly. Could someone explain to me why I love Mika so much but really can't be doing with the Scissor Sisters at all?
  18. Now that's what I call service! I like her a lot, and her brother. She sang that beautifully, a passionate and pretty version. Thanks for sending x
  19. Hi . . . I know most people in here won't have a clue who I am . . . but could I hear it please ?
  20. Yes they are. Bye.
  21. A Rush of Blood to the Head
  22. Sabby! That's great
  23. Also worth watching for the heart-warming hope for the future of cross-platform technology . . . that a lap-top can be plugged into anything, anywhere and save the world
