  1. S'ok. There seems to be some kind of sbnowbaby-related typo every week! I'm not being pedantic, I'm only really pointing it out for records.
  2. I hope you mean amusing as in 'p*** poor effects' amusing. . . . better effects in Men in Black imo, which was out roughly around the same time if I recall rightly, and for a comedy dealing with a similar subject, trounced all over it.
  3. Mikey - do you need to change the scorecard? I can't be third if I got 76 . . . Scorecard: 1 russt68=A 107 2 *Vanessa*=I 100 3 Snowbaby=J 76 4 Sharon B=H 91
  4. I'm still regarded as a newbie :( Thanks though x
  5. Treat yourself to a back-to-back film-fest weekend lol . . . you are missing out on some good stuff there.
  6. I really wanted to see Pan's Labyrinth and missed it on general release. It's been on at my local art house cinema this weekend and I've missed it again! But I think it's out on DVD . . .
  7. Independence Day
  8. CONGRATULATIONS RUSS! YOU LEGEND YOU! :cheer: :yahoo:  :yahoo: :cheer:
  9. One that really bugs me is Get Carter. Every time it's been on TV, something's happened and I've not been able to see it. Similar thing happened with Pretty Woman, it even came on TV once when I was in Germany but it was dubbed in German . . . I finally saw it for the first time this year!
  10. Nelly . . . but it seems my vote was immaterial!

What's wrong with Clare? I thought she approached the whole thing in a determined and delightful way. Both were great, Clare and Kieran. The Bolero's were beautiful. Good top 2. :cheer:

I am loving the final. They are all brilliant but I've voted for Clare. The flying was amazing
  16. Ah, good point
  17. We seem to share the same taste in men Gramz :kink:
  18. I like Walk This Way but wouldn't necessarily buy it, but I might for Comic Relief. It was the video that made 500 miles for me, although the song does take me back. It was seeing all the old faces from my childhood that swung it. Although I did have a split second double-take about 2 people in wheelchairs singing "I would roll 500 miles . . ."!
  19. Love Today vid not as imaginative as Grace Kelly imo. The cafe bit was quite cute. Where was his budget after a number one single and album? I thought they'd throw lots of cash at this one . . . ? He is gorgeous though
  20. As Russell said, Blair was worryingly believable . . . "We didn't find any Weapons of Mass Destruction . . . am I bovvered tho?"
  21. Mika - video exclusive, on T4 on C4 at 11.45am today . . .
  22. Seeing so many old personalities from my childhood made it for me. . . . and there was me thinking you were gonna give me some sexy tech-talk about how to access my download :(
  23. I don't think you've wandered off at all. I really respect your perspective, and that's a valuable post imo.
  24. I downloaded it from 7media but I can't open it. It says it's something to do with a problem accessing the PIN on the directshowgraph, something or other???????? :arrr:
  25. Progress update . . . I've just received an e-mail to say EMI have agreed to a license for me to use the whole track for 200 copies of my DVD in the UK for 2 years . . . . . . at a cost of £100. Bit cross they're charging as it's a not-for-profit initiative, but they're a commercial company, and I guess £100 isn't that steep for the subliminal message that the project has Chris Martin's backing! :) I'm pleased it's come through because I've been given the opportunity to show it at a launch for someone else's project on the 22nd March, where there will be potential funders.
