  2. Oh good, I've been a bit worried about her for a long time *breathes sigh of relief*

    Nor me -_-
  4. Looks like Gwen's had her time! I do like this Nelly track though. I didn't really rate much before this, I felt she had a whole sexually-overt clumsy period where it was a bit too obviously 'look-everyone-I've-found-my-sexuality-and-I'm-gonna-make-lots-a-songs-n-vids-about-it', but she seems to have moved on a bit now
  5. I amaze myself sometimes! ( I didn't press either button!!!)
  6. possibly
  7. Actually, having just seen a TV ad for it's timely Mother's Day release on Monday, I can now say that it will probably be Ray Quinn's 'X factor rat pack impersonation album' (with a guilty copy for myself)

I love it  Loved it with Simon especially, but still love it with Alex and Alexis. I think that kind of hesitant, slightly embarrassed, almost geek-chique style the pair of them have is deliberate, and I think it works. And, has already been said, they pull in a good list of good, current artists most shows now. And the staged / parody interviews crease me - like the useless record company PA, the mexican pop TV interview - and the old one where Amy Winehouse went to work in a butchers for a day and made sausages and kissed some meat. I make a point of watching it, and often watch the repeats.

Hello gorgeous  Good chart for the girlz. Am liking you have Gwen, Amy and Lily in there, and still lovin' Mika x
  12. Yes I should do really. I have Further Down the Spiral but never bother with it. I also like the connection with my fave female artist Tori Amos, who apparently had a brief thing with Trent, and in a lyric in 'Caught a Lite Sneeze' she sings ". . . caught a lite sneeze, dreamed a little dream, made my own pretty hate machine".
  13. Bruce Willis in his Die Hard era. Not really too fussed about action films, but I followed him to the screen as a lover of Moonlighting! I still double-check the lift in my block before I get in it because of him!

  16. Thanks for asking . . . :) I am involved with various different projects within the field of 'the arts, media and mental health'. The DVD is for a project I have been working on since last year to deliver a new kind of initiative in the community that hopefully people who are dis-engaged from mainstream services would be able to benefit from. The DVD was orignally for a presentation I am making at the end of the month, but people who have seen it have encouraged me to develop it further as more of a promotional tool to get the message across to people who could use the service, and for funders etc. When I originally used 'Fix You' I thought I'd just wing the performing rights for the presentation at the end of the month, but since there is potential to show it to more people I am trying to get clearance from Coldplay's publishers. As what I am working on is not-for-profit and has a social benefit, people seem to think Chris Martin et al would be okay with giving a license to use the track . . . Right now, I'm not so sure, but I am excited about it and I really hope it happens . . .
  17. My mom buys her own music. She likes, amongst others, Girls Aloud and the Sugababes. She's 60!
  18. :yahoo: I am very excited atm about a community project I am putting together, part of which has involved making a promotional DVD that I used Coldplay's Fix You as the track for. We're currently involved in a dialogue with Coldplay's publisher to get clearance to use the track. It is all up in the air right now but I just wanted to share it with people here, and wondered if anyone had any thoughts etc. The feedback I have had so far is that Chris Martin may be pretty okay with the idea due to all the work he does for charity . . .
  19. Kerry Katona put me off shopping at Iceland.

:o You surprise me Mark. Just thought, would this do better in Retro? And if so, could someone move it?
  21. 4 in the Morning will make a great single. Was thinking a more dancy one would be better as it gets sunnier / warmer but, no, I think this is ideal. Hopefully it will really stand out.
  22. er . . . Dustbin Timberat (thanks Gramz!) or The Queen of Pop-Hop? Me rather thinks Gwen.
