Mute Audio Documents Box Set Out on 7th May 2007
Ooh? *pays attention* This sounds amazing. Have a lot of respect for Mute due to DM, and although roughly know the history of the label and other artists in passing reference from documentaries etc, I do not know the scene musically. This will be great for me to have an aural history of Mute. I will look out for this. Thanks, once again, for posting. I find your posts interesting, informative and expansive.

tracey ullman
You can see her comedic qualities in her vids . . . 'They Don't Know' also has a brief cameo by Paul McCartney at the end. Although I associate this song more with Kirsty McColl. i0FIl4-cC9U The Tracy Ullman track I remember most of all is 'Sunglasses' . . . ooo-ooh, to hide behind . . .

Don't you start <_<

'Ive Got A Brand New Combine Harvester......'
Well if all you are going by is citing chart positions . . . She used to play the circuit a lot and stopped doing it after her self-confidence was knocked. When she eventually came back to it the scene had moved on and there was no place for her and so she slipped into obscurity. This is one of the reasons I don't post so much out of places like the lounge. There are some places here that if you say anything you just get trampled on with facts and figures. Are people really so insecure that they need to throw their weight around like that? And I also get a bit annoyed about the way people slam things - such as "Ruby Tuesday is an awful track". That is your opinion. Opinions are not facts. And even facts don't tell the whole story. *rant over*

Remember Tron?
Okay, so this a shameless plug for the new Depeche Mode forum request, but it is also a very well crafted piece of work from Justin Alt combining scenes from Tron with Depeche Mode's 'Suffer Well' wlzw74chGmI

NINE INCH NAILS
I keep my NIN listening unadulterated and restricted to Pretty Hate Machine, but by the tracks posted I may be checking out this new stuff. Thanks for posting

'Ive Got A Brand New Combine Harvester......'
Calling me a liar? :P She quotes it as something that devastated her personally and had an effect on her public musical longevity. And personally I like her version of Ruby Tuesday.

Wind it Up, Harajuku Lovers
I do have a tendency to come off as a bit cocky when I feel abandoned and neglected  Thanks tho, it was bugging me I couldn't find it, but if it doesn't exist it won't bug me.

Wind it Up, Harajuku Lovers
I thought you were offering to try and find out about the track, and I was thanking you as you were the only person who offered something helpful. Why is that hard to understand? I don't understand.

Wind it Up, Harajuku Lovers
Yes that's the one. I was wondering if that extended version exists other than as a live version. Does anyone know? It has a slightly different rythym to the main album version as well as more of the sample. Why does nobody else understand what I mean??????

'Ive Got A Brand New Combine Harvester......'
I actually get quite touchy about '. . . Combine Harvester' :( I have the original song that this is a parody of - 'Brand New Key', and other stuff by the artist Melanie. The original lyrics are "I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates, you've got a brand new key, I think that we should get together and try them out to see . . . " Melanie was a very sensitive songwriter / performer and this parody was one of the things that effectivley killed her career :( Seeing the old Christmas Buzzcocks was good tho

still crazy? BBC1 tonight
I so need that tumbleweed smiley . . . Don't care no-one answered. Watched half an hour but then fell asleep, it seemed quite sweet but obviously anything that goes near the backstage band dynamic thing is going to suffer from the comparison to the holy and wholly definitive Spinal Tap.

Cover Design Comp
I like how people rushed to console when I threatened not to enter again cus hardly anyone gives me a single point  . . . <_< Still, at the end of the day I do it for me, and I'm not going to chase votes. So here's mine this week. I haven't got time to do all the effects, or the layout, properly, but you get the idea . . . http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u278/snowbabyneedslove/robbieshesmadonnacover.jpg

still crazy? BBC1 tonight
Quick question, then let it sink . . . Has anyone seen Still Crazy and is it worth watching. I remember seeing the PR for it when it came out years ago but never bothered to see it. It's on BBC1 tonight at 11.20pm, is it worth giving my attention to 'til 1am or shall I not bother?

20 years today: Zeebrugge Disaster
I was at school and remember us talking about it in maths class. Such a pointless waste of life shook us then and is still clear in my mind today.

Avril in Italian Vanity Fair
Great pics :o  Haven't really followed her since her 'complicated' days but I saw the vid for 'girlfriend' the other day and she is blossoming into a rather beautiful young woman.

rate this new compilation 'For My Mum'
Commercial twaddle. You didn't have the option for 0 stars. If you love your mom that much, make your own compilation for her, that's what I say.
