Yay! Really liked the song selection last week, it offered more scope for some strategic predictions :lol: even if some of them I got wildly wrong (e.g. Rebecca Ferguson) but that's half the fun in predicting. :D I like the look of this weeks selection as well.

Whilst that may be true, the converse is that every song that is high in the charts (other than fanbase buys) nearly always has substantial radio play to go along with it. I think Radio play is more important than video play, although clearly both are contributory factors. +++++++++++++++++++ Looks like Emeli will be taking the iTunes #1 spot shortly, she's been steadily increasing on Gotye in the last 24 hours.

I think in Gotye's case, people search the song title and it comes up with both the Gotye version and the fake above, but perhaps people thing that Gotye's version is the fake given that his name isn't a standard English/American sounding name.

Finally realised what I though Gotye's Instrumental sounds like - the Goron caves. Miyamoto should instigate a lawsuit.

It might also cost her the #2 spot, I don't think she'll be that far ahead of Gotye in the official charts right now and when he shoots to #1 on iTunes sometime tomorrow he's going to build another massive lead.

Its not gonna be close - the only way Sande has a chance is if she gets the iTunes #1 spot and gets the #1 effect that Fresh currently has - given he has that (and her top version is too far away / decreasing due to the album version being top 10), it should easily see him past the post with about 10k to spare. Plus, Fresh has EP sales and Sunday sales for all versions - Sande only has that for her top (single) version.
