  1. Ok fair enough re the effort but it definitely doesn't give the same results.
  2. Could you start quoting the movements using the divisor method rather than subtraction?
  3. Given my editing this morning, seems I've been quite horny!
  4. haha, sorry, there should have been a comma after Naked! :o

  8. We've discussed this before - the 48 hour chart theory has been proved correct beyond doubt where songs get deleted falling off the top 1000 feed after exactly 48 hours. Therefore given that it is DEFINITELY a 48-hour chart, and Wand are dropping which means everyone must be selling more now than at the equivalent time on Saturday (which is just simply illogical given the proportion of people at home now compared with the comparable time on Saturday), it simply means that the iTunes chart is a 48-hour WEIGHTED (i.e. not linear) chart, where more recent sales (within the rolling 48-hour period) carry a higher weighting into the popularity bar percentage than sales that took place earlier in the rolling-48-hour period. Simples :)
  9. Done :)

  11. Fixed, I had no idea which would get merged with which (first time I've done a merge), so please no-one be annoyed with me! :(
  12. Missing You is the best track to compare AFU to as it was a suppressed release. Notorious was OA/OS so can't be used as a comparator at all really.
  13. Setting Maroon 5 @ 100%, Pixie is at 80.48%, so 20% behind Maroon 5 (or, Maroon 5 are 24% ahead of Pixie), so I suppose Pixie is gaining if she was 30% behind Maroon 5 on Saturday. I still wouldn't be sure that The Saturdays will remain top 5 officially this week - they will start the week off top 5 officially but I reckon they'll drop as the week goes on. Leona might have an outside chance of sneaking up even higher on iTunes at some point now that the weekend effect is wearing off - but given #6 is 12% ahead and #5 20% ahead, it looks unlikely.
  14. Snow Spiider posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
There is stigma about coming from X Factor, I agree, but that doesn't stop songs from doing well on radio whatsoever. Jls, Alexandra, Olly, previous Leona releases, the list goes on. In fact, Leona being so successful opened the radio doors for the later X Factor acts. What's hampering the Leona track on radio this time is the court case and/or the song being substandard.
  15. Hated One Direction on X Factor but must admit I do quite like their new song, it's infectiously catchy
  16. Was just about to post the same. The divisor method MUST br used when the pop bars are squeezed by a big selling#1 otherwise the gaps as they appear on the pop bars (using subtraction) are extremely misleading.
  17. On the contrary, all the movements there need to be compared with Maroon 5 who are relatively stable. On that basis, what that shows is that both Pixie and The Sats are in freefall now (Pixie as her RoB performance is starting to wear off; The Sats as they are historically front-loaded); Leona is falling less than Pixie/Sats.
  18. Wonder if Leona can overtake The Sats on iTunes by the end of the week? Clearly she won't do it officially but if that were the case, she'd probably be ahead officially next week .
  19. No they're not, they're down 1.2%. Maroon 5 are up 1.6%.
