I can't see JLS NOT getting #1 as they will be ridiculously front-loaded with their 6-8 weeks of radio repression, and the song is actually decent and should easily sell 75-100k first week. Fresh ain't gonna be selling that in 2 or 3 weeks' time therefore unless something comes shooting out of the proverbial woodwork I'd say JLS have it in the bag.

I am about to begin posting the catch up to the Chart Singles Prediction Game that I used to run, which has now been taken over by Suedehead2 who is doing a fantastic job. I will post the first 5 weeks' results tomorrow, with a further 5 sets for each of the remaining days of this week until I have caught up. Once again, apologies for the delay in not getting around to posting these until now, and many thanks to all of you who continued to play whilst I was running the game and who are also still playing now with Suedehead2 in charge.

Even Price Tag had radio play well before its release date, so can't be classed as proper "on-air/on-sale". I would classify on-air/on-sale as the likes of Lady GaGa - BTW and Beyonce - RTW(G).

It can't be on-air/on-sale though as its been on the radio for weeks now. I can't see anything other than a #1 for this, with close to 100k sales opening week.

#1 in both. Actually really like this. In fact, of JLS's singles, there are only 2 that I do not like/love - TCIA and EWS, which are both horrendous.

Surprised at that with the J lo only version as it is actually really good and the middle 8 is fantastic, particularly compared to the middle 8 of the Jessie-only version which is a complete joke and ruins the song.

Yeah, but they're sometimes given, so if bid appetite has the info for those, would be interesting to see how they stack up against first week sales averages.

What are all these "The Voice" performances dominating US iTunes? Why are established artists on them? Is the same going to happen when this show airs in the UK?

Thanks for posting vidcapper, I've always wanted to see this analysis. How are Alex and Cheryl's albums got the highest multiplier's? I would have thought that given their massive exposure, they'd be more front-loaded than anyone! Guess I got that one completely wrong; am genuinely astonished at those figures. EDIT: These are ratios for all #1 albums' first week sales? Do you have similar information for all #1 albums (even those that are in their 2nd/3rd etc week)? And even more interestingly, how do these and those that you have already posted above compared with ratios for non-#1 albums, whether they are in their first or later weeks of sale?

Ok is iTunes just in a continual revert->normal->revert mode as DeRulo is back up to 0.89 again :grr:
