  1. I don't think it'll get higher than #9 this week personally, and wouldn't be surprised if it only charts @ #11.

  5. Spiidey's Chart Singles Prediction Game Chart Sunday 17th April 2011 :cheer: :yahoo: :dance: :cheer: WEEK 15 IN 2011!!! The predictions are broken down into two sections:- SECTION A In this section, you will predict where 14 songs are going to be in the following Sunday's Top 75 chart. In this section, you should predict for each song a position between 1 and 75 based on where you think that song will chart within the Top 75. If you think the song will chart outside the top 75 (i.e. position 76 or lower) you should use the notation "75+". The point scoring for these 14 songs is:- 10 pts if spot on with your prediction (therefore a maximum of 140 points to play for in this section);9 pts if your prediction is out by 1 position, 8 pts if your prediction is out by 2 positions, down to 1 pt if your prediction is out by 9 positions and zero points if your prediction is out by 10 or more positions; If you think a song will not make the Top 75, you can predict that song to be 75+ (i.e. any position outwith the top 75). If this is correct, you will get 5 points; If a song charts in a position between 76-84 (e.g. 77), and you have predicted that song to chart at a position between 67-75 (e.g. 70), you will still score the "normal" points - in the example given, you would score 3 pts;If a new single is pulled from release or non-chart eligible then everyone's prediction for that question will be void and everyone will be awarded 5 points;Due to physical singles sales declining I have scrapped the old rule of awarding points should the physical release be postponed so long as the download release goes ahead as scheduled.+ SECTION B In this section, you will predict the answer to THREE bonus questions (by answering "Yes" or "No" for questions 1 and 3, and i., ii., iii. for question 2). Each bonus question is worth 20 Pts (therefore giving a maximum of 60 points from this section). Therefore there will be a maximum of 200 Points [140 points in Section A, and 60 points in Section B] to gain. ============================================================ THE PREDICTIONS:- Sales Period: Sunday 10 April – Saturday 16 April SECTION A Arctic Monkeys - Don’t Sit Down 'Cause I Moved Your Chair All Time Love – I Feel Like Dancin’ Britney Spears – Till The World Ends Chipmunk ft. Bonus #2: Who will chart highest this week:- i. Mann ft. 50 Cent – Buzzin’ ii. Snoop Dogg & David Guetta – Sweat iii. Chris Brown ft. Benny Benassi – Beautiful People Bonus #3: Will Rihanna – Only Girl (In The World) be higher than Adele – Make You Feel My Love in the chart? ============================================================ You have up until circa 10:00am UK Time on Tuesday 12th April to get your entries in (I'll be keeping the thread open) but entries altered after the midweeks have arrived will be excluded. Each Game counts towards the Overall Leaderboard (The Best 48 Games). Whilst I will maintain the last 6 weeks Leaderboard for newer players If you have never played in previous years, then here is a great opportunity to join in the fun! :cheer:
  6. Mid-table; happy with that as thought I would be further down the board this week.
  7. I can't believe how cute (and sexy) her tracks are. There's just something about them that oozes sex. But in a cute, understated, shy way; not the kind of sex that Rihanna bangs on about. I also watched an MTV special with her. She's quite good live; well the big notes in her tracks were.
  8. I heard Alexis Jordan's Hush Hush on radio the other day; what a great song! I honestly thought she was going to be a one-hit-wonder, but I've LOVED :wub: all 3 of her singles now. Not released until May 8th though - but is it charting top 1000 on iTunes yet? ====================== 1 J-Lo 100.0% 2 LMFAO 98.1% 3 BEP 56.5% 4 K-Pez 54.9% 5 Mann 48.5% 6 Adele 48.0% 7 Snoop 46.6% 8 Nicole 38.6% 9 C Brown 38.1% 10 Wiz 34.2% Can PRA overtake before BT40 locks down @ 6?
  9. +15 Mariah Carey “All I Want For Christmas is You” +12 Bon Jovi “Always” BIG GAP +10 Corona “Rhythm Of The Night” +8 Ace of Base “Sign” +6 Big Mountain “Baby I Love Your Way” +5 Kylie Minouge “Confide in Me” +4 All 4 One “I Swear” +3 MC Sar & Real McCoy “Another Night” +2 Toni Braxton “Breathe Again” +1 Red Dragon feat. Brian & Tony Gold “Compliments on Your Kiss” -2 Crash Test Dummies “Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm” Go go go Mariah :wub:
  10. Come on LMFAO, start to drop from the weekend effect and let J-Lo stay #1 on iTunes for 2 full weeks. If J-Lo could maybe just stay @ #1 on iTunes into Monday/Tuesday of next week (unlikely but she may be a big beneficiary of the weekend effect as witnessed on the dance floor when I was out last week and therefore allow her to build up a bit more of a lead than the flimsy one she has now) then she could maybe just hang on for the #1 spot officially for a third week. That's the irrational part of me thinking/hoping; rationally I think next week LMFAO will be #1 unless Katy Perry continues to climb all of next week at the rate she has been all this week.
  11. Don't you mean 3rd? (behind J-Lo and LMFAO) And I'd just like to point out that I REALLY hope this song doesn't peak higher than Firework, it is horrendous, I'm still astonished its doing so well everywhere. My g/f likes it but I honestly cannot stand it; I hate when we're in the car together and she insists we listen to it on the radio :puke:
  12. Katy Perry ft. Kanye West - E.T. #10 Rihanna - S&M #11
  13. It'll still have more than the 34 hours that Born This Way had, so I can see Judas easily selling 100k that week if it has 4-5 days sales.
  14. Rihanna up to 9! So Dre will get knocked out first :o EDIT: Are my eyes deceiving me, or have Snoop and Katy P fallen back a bit?
  15. I can't believe how close the two versions of E.T. are, with them both STILL being outside the top 10 :o Although that is bound to change shortly, the album version should go top 10 any minute and it will be interesting to see if that then results in the single version starting to drop (I think it will but I've only actually heard the single version on the radio so maybe not). Hopefully Rihanna and Dr Dre drop out of the iTunes top 10 as Snoop and Katy Perry's single version should be top 10 any minute. Really hope LMFAO don't overtake J-Lo but at the rate they're going they might do it at some point late this week; if J-Lo survives to the weekend I think she'll hold on until Tuesday/Wednesday next week as her weekend effect should be strong now her sales has moved off their first week curve.
  16. :cheer: Woo, a win after narrowly missing out in last week's game! :cheer: Delighted with how this game has gone for me this year, touch wood before it all comes to a crashing halt.
  17. It's also now in rotation on Capital under their banner of "new music" (despite it being months old :rofl:).
  18. The Joy Formidable - Whirring 75+ Jodie Connor ft. Tinchy Stryder - Bring It 30 Trey Songz ft. Nicki Minaj - Bottoms Up 75+ T-Pain ft. 20. Cheryl was hot when she had a more, erm, chavvy look at the start of Girls Aloud. Since then, she's become too stylised to be hot in my book. Agreed.
  21. Ellie Goudling?! ... Wow, your taste is COMPLETELY different to mine :o
  22. Kimberley has the second best set of lips in the World of Pop :)
  23. If u can find me a picture of SuBo when she was GaGa's age, I'll answer that, otherwise she'll be at the bottom as I don't do grannies. :P
  24. I'm not sure if it differs on the iPod per se, but on iTunes, you can start a song 3 seconds from the end, and 4 seconds later it'll have upped it's play count by 1 ...
  25. I was just going to post the exact same thing. J Lo is easily one of the most beautiful women in the world, and Beyonce is HOT. GaGa is one of the most unattractive popstars around. I'd actually put her 2nd bottom with only Katy B below her. Adele should also be higher. Each to their own and all that I suppose, but even then ...
