Spiidey's Chart Singles Prediction Game Chart Sunday 13th March 2011 :cheer: :yahoo: :dance: :cheer: WEEK 10 IN 2011!!! The predictions are broken down into two sections:- SECTION A In this section, you will predict where 14 songs are going to be in the following Sunday's Top 75 chart. In this section, you should predict for each song a position between 1 and 75 based on where you think that song will chart within the Top 75. If you think the song will chart outside the top 75 (i.e. position 76 or lower) you should use the notation "75+". The point scoring for these 14 songs is:- 10 pts if spot on with your prediction (therefore a maximum of 140 points to play for in this section);9 pts if your prediction is out by 1 position, 8 pts if your prediction is out by 2 positions, down to 1 pt if your prediction is out by 9 positions and zero points if your prediction is out by 10 or more positions;If you think a song will not make the Top 75, you can predict that song to be 75+ (i.e. any position outwith the top 75). If this is correct, you will get 5 points;If a song charts in a position between 76-84 (e.g. 77), and you have predicted that song to chart at a position between 67-75 (e.g. 70), you will still score the "normal" points - in the example given, you would score 3 pts;If a new single is pulled from release or non-chart eligible then everyone's prediction for that question will be void and everyone will be awarded 5 points;Due to physical singles sales declining I have scrapped the old rule of awarding points should the physical release be postponed so long as the download release goes ahead as scheduled.+ SECTION B In this section, you will predict the answer to THREE bonus questions (by answering i., ii., or iii. for question 1, and "Yes" or "No" for questions 2 and 3). Each bonus question is worth 20 Pts (therefore giving a maximum of 60 points from this section). Nope, I don't like it whatsoever either and am pleasantly surprised it is flopping on its ar$e. Jessie now 89% of Adele, so still gaining and very quickly right now, although that gain is bound to subside once the effect of her promo over the last few days is knocked out of the pop bars. Also, she'll lose the weekend effect, and her album advert on iTunes will go. So even though the rate she's gaining right now makes it look like she'll overtake Adele combined quickly and take the #1 spot officially next week, the factors I've mentioned above make the race wide open IMO. Although, SLY Live version is iTunes only so Jessie probably doesn't have to actually get ahead of Adele on iTunes combined at all to take the #1 spot next week.

Exactly. PT won't even be close to SLY in sales this week - probably 70-80% of SLY's sales - never mind actually overtaking.

I think Price Tag will return to #1 if I'm being honest. SLY #2 and Wiz around #3-#5, probably the lower end of that but #3 at best. It's just going too slow, even for an urban track. And SLY will definitely be #1 this week - its outsold PT on ITunes but a considerable margin all week so I can't see why anyone would rationally be thinking SLY wouldn't be #1 today.
