Wow, I absolutely LOVE it!!! Lady G never fails to disappoint me with an uptempo. The melody is very retro - definitely has a feel of Express Yourself but with a 2011 twist. Stunning :wub: And I'm sorry, but what did people expect? Her to reinvent the musical wheel? She's come back with a fantastic pure pop knockout tune.

12-24 hours, assuming it is released at 2pm, as I don't think it will do it by 11pm ish tonight (so it'll be stuck at whatever position it is then - prob somewhere in the top 10 - until the morning), but it could gather enough steam tomorrow morning to do it.

Yeah, 3-5k sounds about right (maybe a bit low; see below), I was definitely joking before when I said a couple of copies to get a hit in Sweden and that site suggesting 100 digital copies is wrong (even though I'm sure Sweden still has a strong physical market and/or iTunes doesn't count for as large a share of downloads there as it does in the UK). In fact, comparatively to the UK with 83.9k (vidcapper's average #1 sales for 2010) and 61.8 million population, the equivalent for Sweden would be 12.6k (based on population of 9.3 million) (how did you get 20-30k gooddelta?) The figure for Sweden will definitely be lower though because the UK is one of the largest buyers of music per head of population globally. I'd suggest Sweden averages maybe even as low as half the UK figure, so probably around 5-6k average for #1 in Sweden (obviously outside Melodi).

It takes about 2 copies to make the top 10 in Sweden, so doubtful that its sold bucketloads (although maybe a bucket in Sweden is smaller than a bucket in the UK?)

I agree, can't see #1 for GaGa if she is released on Friday, but #5-10 is definitely possible. How close is Chris to Jessie now?
