I still think the minute We Are Young gets top 10 it will shoot up into the top 5 easily and top 2 within a day. Overtaking Carly might prove a bit more difficult.

More like top 5 if not higher I think, it'll really take off once it gets noticed, I think the top 10 effect for it will be phenomenal. I agree with Six, I think it could actually be a tense battle for #1 if it really takes off. The fact that it so high already when most people are at work (although the kiddies are off for school) suggests it might actually do so. I also think its a more "adult" song than the usual electro-pop that infuses the top 10.

If she was more front loaded then Sean then naturally he would have been increasing anyway, perhaps the video boost slowed all of that down. Katy was definitely more front loaded than Sean as well given where they are now on iTunes.

Wrong. Having other versions available whether it be via the artists own album or via a massive compilation album such as Now 81 always improVes sales dramatically as it results in increased advertising for the track inquestion on the homepage of iTunes.

Perhaps Part of Me did gain from the video, and its "gain" was simply less of a dramatic fall then it may have otherwise experienced (see Chris Brown and his massive front loaded effect this week)
