    United States of Russiatron scored 112 points at the 8th official Buzzjack Song Contest. Making her Buzzjack debut Kate Ryan sang her out with Elle Ella L'a but it wasn't enough to stop Nonsuch for winning the contest- for the 1st time in the contest. But it's not all bad news for United States of Russiatron- as they are now the most successful contry to ever participate at a Buzzjack Song Contest.

    Kate told the USR news after the show "I'm so thrilled for Lily, she is a really nice woman and despite having a potty mouth- I do think she desereved to win". Kate will be moving to FNT Nickodina in the next couple of weeks to start preparations for her first ever world tour. "Buzzjack contest has opened up so many doors for me, and I am so thankful".

    Kate's tour of the world kicks off in FNT Nickodina on the 1st August and will conclude in Mdice on the 31st September. After that, she is taking time out from the music biz to try for a baby with long term partner Boris Johnston. "I really want to start a family and thats why I'm taking a year long break. I need some time to breath". Despite this; Kate has not ruled out a return to Buzzjack Song Contest "It's been an amazing experience and I can thank everyone for supporting me".

    Rachel stays put at 14-1 whilst Rebecca rises. Stuart enters at 20-1 in the middle whilst Rex and Dale drop more. Mario continues to dwindle in popularity whilst Dennis and Lisa find themselves rank outsiders.

    They have some good songs; but some very overrated songs such as 'Fix You'.

     

    My favourite song by them is properly 'The Scientist'.

     

    But that said; Overall they are actually a good band. I'm not too keen on the songs I've heard from the latest album though.
