someone can explain how streams are being credited between their 2 greatest hits releases? This 2nd Greatest Hits had 502k sales by the end of 2012 (14 months after the release and after their farewell tour). It got the 2x platinum 4 years later, by the end of 2016. their other GH vol 1 was shifting 20-25k per year according to recent statistics. As far as I remember only the top 12 songs stream wise matter for the album sales isn't it?

Its UK streams are estimated around ~35 millions as of now! On 276k in December 2021, it sold another 124k in 2.5 years, on an average of almost 1.000 copies per week!! Its not necessarily a matter of getting the money bur more of a sustainability issue. We all worked in businesses and know the world of business is ruthless. If u dont generate funds you are sent home. I am pretty sure they created the previous album on a financial loss. However this break from touring could open the idea for some new music

WMUB was a huge hit indeed, especially on streaming though. I highly doubt it even sold 1 million pure sales, let alone physicals… thats way below certain top singles from other boybands
