320 m spotify and ~400 m in youtube... Are there any other big streaming platforms...? They must have been streamed close to 1 billion times this year... not sure how this is translated into sales if it is anyway...

do artists have pre-ordering for singles / songs? if they didn't do it with Hello My Love i doubt they will now, especially for a song on the album which was released already.

not necessarily.... No artist has any longevity in the album chart.. Don't look on the singles chart. All is about streaming and being on certain playlists.... Who would be out a music shop buying Dance Monkey single now? No one, it is at the #1 though.. The album is a success anyway - of course it won't sell anywhere near their latter releases but ok.. they didnt have a #1 for 12 years - maybe this year they used a strategy to get it but it's still good.

i am secretly hoping it was higher, and it should be since it's a hot album and its december... Back in the day they used to be Top 3 for months...

That's certain for sure it is already Silver so I would expect to hit GOLD before Christmas... The big bet is to become Platinum, probably it will become later next year maybe after new singles or when the tour arrives..

What information we got from Alan Jones: Westlife sold 1,867 album streams which is a decent number I believe - if someone from here knows how to calculate the total streams out of this number please do so :) Coast to Coast sold 1.725 millions Unbreakable sold almost 1.9 millions The Love Album and Back Home both sold more than 1 million Total album sales as of now above 13.1 millions Uptown Girl sold 990k and is expected to become a million seller at the beginning of 2020! Total Singles sales for them are more than 9.8 millions and I am sure this number will be above 10 millions by the beginning of 2020! Spectrum is 5th faster selling album of the year. Hopefully it can reach the Top 10 end of year albums. Total Albums and Singles in the UK currently: 23+ millions I am sure they sold almost 2 millions DVDs so the total number of records in the UK is ~25 millions. Anything else to be added?
