it's strange that they lost a lot their power in the UK while they maintained it in Ireland over the years and even today...

leaking doesn't really matters that much... Westlife's Love album was leaked a month prior to it's release 13 years ago, and if i am not mistaken it was their fastest selling album ever...

it must have sold enough to be no 1 - you only need 20-30 k to reach it..

I would personally doubt it. If i am not mistaken the lads themselves confirmed the date not sure - maybe this site just looked into the release dates of this box or vinyl and got confused... PS: it would be a suicide to release later than Nov 15...

from what i noticed the album chart is more or less built during the weekend update, which probably means it's built based on pre orders now...

i am asking for people here with experience in the charts the last couple of years :)

anyone here is suggesting that a song in HH would chart the same while not in this playlist? No! Does it make it a better song if it's there or not? No!

If they want to save the charts they need to stop counting sales from playlists... A song sale should count if someone wants to hear not when they are forced to because they are put into certain playlists..

They have 2 live TV shows during the release week.. Children in need and Strictly come dancing... #1 album is on the way after 12 years! :o :o :o [i hope] :)

THere is no such thing but anyway, Westlife was the most loved act ever. Don't misunderstand my words, they were loved the most but were never the most famous.. THeir core fanbase was really core... They produced extraordinary music the first 5 years but then the quality was on a decline, only You Raise Me Up was a big song for them since then, all their efforts since then were normal at best... Remember they brought out Swear it again, if i let you go, Flying without wings, My Love, Uptown Girl, When you're looking like that, World Of our own in a period of 2.5 years.. Post You Raise me Up era it was almost nothing, Safe, Home, The Rose, Lighthouse, Better Man, Dynamite, even My Blood cannot be called something extraordinary.. Even a big fan wouldn't bother buying those singles, and that was a big period... That's when the legacy was put in risk... PS1: I avoided commenting on Frank Sinatra album, even if they now know it was a terrible move, especially the timing(!!!) but it was a terrible move! It was a f***ing turning point.. PS2: Hello My Love and Us Against The World were 2 singles which were released later and i would personally consider them as westlife level songs :)

because UK is a bigger market and closer to their home they made a decision to call it a day and to save the legacy of the group save the legacy from what??

PS: I am sure the record companies know the release schedule despite not publishing it yet, so i am sure Westlife team know the competition already, and moving the album to that date knowing Adele is releasing would be just ridiculous to say the least... They would have been #1 90% of the year as of now to say the least...

i still (want to) believe she is not releasing before Westlife and that we will have a No.1 by Monday update... :)
