It's not so simple, it's the culture now, even the acts are urging their fans to stream... You can't change the culture of the whole country... To reach the top only with sales, it only happened during xmas week last year, but it was xmas week.. Take that are bigger than Westlife currently in the UK, probably due to the fact they are english, or due to media backing, so even if TT reached the no.1, a top 5 for Westlife, which would be deserved and justified, (no1 in physicals, no2 in sales 2nd highest new entry). I find it shamefull that the no1 in physical sales and the no2 in sales song, charted at no26... i find it even more that a song is no1 for 6 weeks already just because its stuck on peoples playlist... 6 weeks at no1 only out of the ordinary singles could and should have made it.... charts are not interesting any more. OCC and world wide charts should bring back what they destroyed otherwise let them enjoy the comedy they are maintaining..

THe song entered the midweeks Top 100 this week, so I assum it charted around there and I expect its sales to maintain close to 10k... So the total as of now should be 173k... Jay can you please give us a summary? That means that in the next month it's probably going to be Silver certified, which is the minimum this single deserves...

Biggest Irish artist single... Not something extraordinary... They are the Top 2 Ireland's biggest export to date... It must have sold around 25.000 copies there i suppose..

u cant be impressed since they are the band with the most no1 singles in the UK and be active.. but this streaming era destroyed their chances... All their power was their fanbase which adored them, but asking ur fans to stream, instead of buying is like scoring an own goal..... half of the country should be ur fanbase to win that way....

It's streamin which killed the fanbase of any artist... Now in order to get at the top, you have to be played everywhere, in every ipod of the country. Not to mention the fact that you have to be put in certain playlists... Westlife were never about this, they were never the most lovable act out there, you either love them or hate them and that's what made them successful, that their fans loved them beyond music.... For westlife its not possible to get a hit because to get one you need to be climbing in spotify for 1 month till you reach there, thats not the way a fanbase works.... Big shame to the UK charts, they have the same Top 2 for like 1.5 months now, and they push another piece of s...t for the next #1 to stay there another 1-2 months... This is stupid.. ^_^ Big shame also for the artists to ask for their fans to stream their music.... A fanbase cannot make a difference by streaming so it's a nonsense move... you love them you buy... You like a song you stream it..
