only recently I noticed that Flying without wings became platinum! I thought the single had sold less than 400k so it was kind of a surprise for me... Unless there is something i hadn't considered. How can we know the updated amount of singles Westlife sold in the UK? i thought they were close to 7m but apparently the number became higher than that. Can smeone help?

Ok THanks for the info. If I am not mistaken they sold 14.000 last week which means ~ 7.000 streams and ~7.000 sales right? Accordng to spotify they had 620k of streams... This way we can assume that they get around 11-12 sales each 1.000 of streams, if we consider spotify as a reference. Please correct my way of thinking if it's wrong.

how much is the impact of spotify streams into the sales? anyone has done some kind of a calculation?

They had a huge support since their comeback there is no doubt about it. And i don't consider it a flop at all. As a matter of fact with Hello My Love run and sales it should have charted higher, but it just didn't happen. Now it's up to them to maintain those levels high and gain new fans.
