This is deffinitely not the case. I refer you to the 2 spots of: 1:47 and 2:30, between those 2 videos of starlight. the difference is clear. However Nicky's and Kian's solos might be.

How is Westlife not in this list? Their singles total was 12,853,945 in November, now it could be closer to 13.5m. I dont think they sold much more than 1m singles in 1999, so their 21st century total should be over 12m. Unless singles released before 2000 are not considered at all in this list which would make their total ~11m….

Fairplay to them/their recording company why would/ how can they record a video for singles which sell 20-30k copies? In their last company they agreed on 4 music videos and then got dropped. Its the public who only pay for theor concertss instead of their music…

Anyone knows if streams are concerted as record sales in other countries as it happens in the UK and Ireland and if it happens to some countries or to the whole world?

Total albums End of Nov 21: 13,582,655 Total albums previous century (according to Jay): 770,416 Total albums today ~ : 13,677,600 Wild Dreams sales: 85,000 Rest of albums last 4 months ~: 10.000 i would expect the number to be a lot higher if my data and calculations are correct. Unless the album total shared when WD charted included its first week sales which were 38k, but i dont know if we will ever find out :P

Apparently they mean album only sales: Bublé is the ninth biggest-selling artist of the 21st century in the UK with cumulative consumption of 12,150,504 units, including 10,452,370 physical sales and 1,049,456 digital downloads, in which metrics he ranks sixth and fifth, respectively. The artists with higher overall consumption than Bublé: 1 Robbie Williams (16,674,978), 2 Coldplay (14,734,824), 3 Elvis Presley (13,502,834), 4 Eminem (13,276,742), 5 Westlife (12,907,183), 6 Take That (12,613,279), 7 The Beatles (12,585,043) and 8 Adele (12,402,363). Pressumably its impossible to sing live for 2-3 hours everyday for 6 months but i am pretty sure many artists are doing this. However The fact that Kian never sings is getting annoying. I wouldnt have any problem if they went back to giving the solos of their singles to only mark and shane as they are easily on different level by far… nicky is ok and that I credit to him

do u maybe have their greatest hits' albums weekly and total? i am sure they must have been charted last few weeks in top 200

@Jay how do you see the chart run of top 200? I want to see the same for Westlife and maybe their sales too.

This was reported 3-4 years ago: The band sold over 40 million studio albums and 55 million records overall worldwide. With 13 million singles in the UK alone how can this be even close to reality? :P Although strange to believe they had sold 40m albums, (however this number is comfortably above 35m) but if they sold 13m singles in the UK surely their worlwide total should approach double that number isnt it? It was reported that Swear it Again alone sold 500k in the US.

Maybe scared of medium competition on singles chart this week…

Westlife were in the studio recently too... Can we hope? :P

Based on my experience i dont think it will ever go, at least not in the next decade with the way the streams are calculated in albums.
