    Very sad news. I wasn’t a 1D fan at all but really liked his last song ‘teardrops’. He was young, good looking and talented in his own way. At the moment, lots of speculation about how it’s happened which isn’t really helpful.

    A lot of people saying suicide and calling out all his past problems with alcohol and depression and mental health demons. It’s been like 3 hours since the news broke and people already feel like they know what’s happened. It’s kinda sick. Reminding me of Nicola Bulley how they brought all her personal stuff on to the table to make it make sense when there’s an actual person and family here having to look at all this shit.

    I don’t want to get into a debate about this at all, but there’s a difference between something happening beyond all control, and something happening because somebody was at peace with it happening. I was merely saying that I hope that whatever transpired was something Liam felt was best for him, and not an unforeseen accident forgoing his consent. Either way it’s horrendous, it was just my own way of, as I said, finding some semblance of solace in what is this type of situation. I completely agree that he has a had a rough go of it. He did not deserve the barrage of hatred spat his way this last week, or any other week of his career for that matter. Nobody does.

     

    EDIT: It’s hard to articulate fully-formed thoughts over text. Especially to those who do not know you. I’m sorry if my comments sound insensitive to some. They make sense to me.

    By all accounts he was acting erratic and aggressive, there were smashed tvs and laptops and the room was a mess. Whether it was an accident or suicide it was clearly impulsive and probably substance fuelled. The idea it was a clear choice and someone choosing his what was best for him or something is just silly really.

    Did anyone manage ?We were in the queue trying for Cardiff, started at around 20000 and took 2 hours to get to the shop, but all gone, nothing, nada.

    Now a friend got spares for Dublin, which started 1 hour earlier than expected, so might go there

    Well done getting some!
