    this was a MOMENT

i'll never forget meeting lew and looking for a translater

  2. ariana @ pride is gonna blow my actual head off. ignoring the controversy regarding the whole thing i can’t wait to live my best life. any other bj’ers there ??
  3. okay watched part 2 last night so i'm gonna try sum up my thoughts. i'll admit that by the end i was sorta siding with the two guys' testimonies because they went into so much detail and the families and girlfriends were then involved that it made me think how could they create such a convincing story which was very compelling, but then i realised that this isn't a court of law, its just a documentary. a documentary that is completely one sided and had no intention of finding out about the other side. yes, michael is dead, but there are plenty of people in his friends and family circle who would have also been around these kids at the time who may have been able to corroborate some of these stories. to me, whatever did or didn't happen here is a lot of the mothers' faults. the one mum who let her son sleep with him in the first place and then bit by bit her suite in the hotel was getting further apart and yet didn't think anything of it? as if michael jackson didn't have enough money/control to let her be next-door or on the same FLOOR. delusional. if you saw that pattern happening you'd surely just say right he needs to come stay with us now. but no she kept letting it happen because she clearly loved the attention/fame/money whatever that her son was bringing in and if letting him stay in michael jacksons bed for days on end is the sacrifice then so be it. if all true, the parents were clearly groomed too then. i also find it very uneasy that they're suing the jackson estate. so they testify in michael's defence multiple times (which i think should have some sort of comeuppance for lying under oath) and then use this documentary to tell their story and then want money for it by suing still... hmm

on the suspicious side, it's news to me that he had such close relationships with these kids and their families. like i say, if he did do anything, he's not only groomed the boys but also the parents. ringing them up all the time, coming round to their house when he says he feels so alone etc. in my head when i heard about the allegations in the 90s i used to think it was just like him abusing a kid who has come round to neverland and that was it. i never knew (if true) that he had such close bonds with these accusers and their families. i can see how a parent whose son is a huge michael jackson fan suddenly finds themselves in a situation where he is saying how talented and amazing their son is would get wrapped up in all that but at the end of the day they let him sleep in his bed. from there you've got no control and it's not a case of, like they say wanting the kid to be happy cos he wanted to so much, but putting your foot down and saying no, this is a 30 yr old man who we've only just met. who cares if it's michael jackson. thats where the parents' problem lies. also the 'marriage' rings thing got me thinking.. the level of detail that would have had to have gone into that would be astonishing. i also disagree with the idea that just because macauley and other kids testified to say nothing ever happened is clear evidence.

i literally don't know what to think rn which is a shitter. i've always idolised mj and i even have a f***ing tattoo of him. but when stuff like this comes out it does make me question shit. i want to believe everything he says ofc but i'm in right of mind not to. i don't think we'll ever find out what happened tbh. but i think that either way this documentary will be devastating. devastating if the accusations are true, and devastating they're not.

  4. They should take a page from NASCAR and award like 5 points for the one who led the most laps and 1 point to anyone who led at least one lap. It makes the pit strategies even more intriguing because cars in the back will time it so they can lead that one lap before pitting.

    i like this idea

  5. Regardless of everything, surely if Michael Jackson is a serial peadophile then you would expect lots more people to come forward? I can't believe he 'just' did it to 5 people. The difference between the likes of Saville, Weinstein, R Kelly etc. is once these allegations were out in the open lots of people came forward. It will be interesting to see if anyone else comes forward.

I still have a hard time believing that if these allegations are true, you would lie an oath in court to protect the man. Then convinently not long after he has died, come forward with allegations. I have a really hard time believing Wade Robson as a credible witness. Attending a tribute show and MJ's funeal but claiming his music traumatises him. He's had known money issues and has been called out as a liar various times. I really struggle to believe him.

i feel the same issue with james keeping the rings that michael got him for their 'wedding'.. why keep them if you're so traumatised by it. i'm sure there's a collector out that that would pay big bucks for them

  6. i'm really gonna have to wait for part 2 to really process this and give an opinion. the bias is shocking but even as a mega fan i felt like so much corroborated between stories. which they could have all easily have discussed beforehand but y'know..
  7. Favourite title sequence: Stranger Things - so simple but sticks in my mind out of them all

Honourable mentions to True Blood, The X-Files and Fresh Prince

Day 9 - Cal & Chloe's death is single handedly the most beautifully tragic death of all time! Just the emotion, the song that was used, the editing everything was stunningly done! The way she says "You can't have me" and just commits suicide instead... I AM ALWAYS A MESS.

omggggg this is just a blast from the past i completely forgot about this show. i was HOOOOOKED

p.s. gonna give justice to arthur giving him a vote for best kids show :(

  9. Day 15: Favourite female character - Leslie Knope (Parks & Recreation)

Who is ultimate best girl? A question for the ages and not one I have an easy answer to. Rin Tohsaka and Saber are up there from Fate, Mion from Higurashi, Ryoko in Kill La Kill, Ami in Toradora... so I'm going to choose none of those and go for Leslie Knope. Because obviously. Well, not so obviously. I just love the sort of character who would do anything to excel and in a positive way and Leslie very much fulfils those qualities and is very entertaining besides, nearly all of my good memories of P&R involve her (or Ron, who could have easily been chosen for best guy). Apologies waifus, next time xx

    my close second

i've like half of these but i find things like fav scene and least fav episode too hard..

but my fav female character is ilana from broad city. she encapsulates everything i am and wish i was. there's not a single scene that i've not balled at. yes queen!
