Rihanna didnt sell that much in Europe her first album only sold 500k in USA so im doubtful if it would have even sold 500k in Europe and rest of the world,Ciaras first did 2.6 million in US alone and probarly about 3.2 million worldwide(She sold around 170k in Uk).As for the second album Rihanna sold around 1.2 million in America and proabrly another 1.8 million worldwide so i think probarly around 3 million worldwide(thats just my guess) and so far Ciara has sold 1.2 million in US alone,and hasnt been out that long yet so i think she will sell around 2 million in America by the end,and maybe 500k worldwide so make that Ciara-5.7 million worldwide albums Rihanna-4 million As for singles well Ciara's had 3 top 5 in Uk (4 top 10s-Lose control),Rihanna had 3 top 5's(3 top 10's) Ciara has been credited on a further 2 top 20's and so has Rihanna. However,Ciara has only realeased 1 single from her 2nd album in comparison to Rihanna who has released 2 in Uk.

Ciara for me,no doubt much better artist.

She's just angry 'cause she just thinks Rihanna was being disrespectful." But our insider suspects that the feud may be more about jealousy than anything else. You see, despite selling more than twice as many records as Rihanna, Ciara can't seem to garner as much public attention. The insider tells MediaTakeOut.com, "Rihanna's music isn't all that popular, but yet she's gotten tons of endorsements. And the paparazzi flock to her like she's Britney Spears ... I'm not sure the paparazzi even know who Ciara is." And last week, the insider claims that Ciara gave her dancers an ultimatum when it comes to Rihanna. When the Bajan beauty's song Umbrella was played during a dance rehearsal, Ciara nearly lost it. Tells our insider, "Ciara spazzed out ... She stopped the session and told everyone that the next time someone played a song by 'that no-talent girl', they'd be fired."

Like a Boy hasnt done that badly 25 in US and still at its peak and downloads have been very consistant every week with it selling around 25-32k last couple of weeks,16 in Uk and only fell 1 place this week which is good. In comparison to both Promise and Get Up they both reached higher peaks because they had high downloads for the first few weeks then fell quicker,i think 'Like a Boy' could climb into the tp 20 in the US soon which is a hit to me. As for this being the 3rd single quite pleased because i really like it,i just hope she has a better video because all of the videos from 'The Evoulution' have been boring.

I hope she takes her time and releases something decent instead of rushing material out.

Winehouse doing well,shame about the fall but she should rise next week.

I hope this does well such a shame 'lithium' flopped in both UK and US,is this getting a release in Uk and is the song recieving any airplay in America ?

Well there is a very simple reason: When bands start to get alot of radio and tv exposure everyone jumps on the bandwagon and even teenpoppers join in. For example i was really into Fall Out boy and My Chemical Romance when they were first out and noone had heard of them. Then after FOB had released 'Sugar...' and 'Dance Dance',everyone claimed to be massive fans even though they had only heard 2 songs so basically it became uncool to like them.Then MCR had brillant tunes like 'Helena' and 'i'm Not okay' and did well in the charts but not brillant. Now when they released 'Welcome to the black parade' they had to turn mainstream to get sucess. Furthermore even my friend who never listens to bands like them wanted to buy the new FOB single and MCR new single is dire. It pisses me off cause i have went right off the 2 bands. Does anyone else hate when a band sells out ?

Last album was brillant very tempted to buy this.

Not really,but do like this program,ever since it has been moved to Thursday i miss it,i think next week might be the last epsiode of this series.

You will get no where in life stereotyping people,to be honest i like most emos i know,(none of which wear dog collars :dance:) and i dont know one which follows your stereotyical views.

I wouldnt call Fall out Boy emo at all,they are more mainstream pop/punk(sell outs) now and it isnt emos that wear dog collars that is goths ;)

Doubt it on Hits Daily Double it is estimated to only sell around 110k this week,whch isnt that impressive considering it has only sold around 2.5 million in the US so far and she has made a video for each song :lol:

I would hardly call them 'emo', like Fall out boy(once my favourite band) they are complete sell outs,their previous album was far better before they changed their style to become popular and to be honest i cant really stand them or Fall Out Boy,even one of my friends who is really into 'pop' (he likes britney,xtina ect and doesnt like any indie,emo bands) bought their recent single. :puke2:

It should be a good chart battle next week Procraimlers vs Avril vs Arctic Monkeys vs Beyonce/Shakira vs Timberland,i think it could go anyway,probarly not beyonce/shakira though.

Unwritten has sold something around 1.4 million.

I think it will go to the bottom end of the top 10.

I saw this and i can't stand that Stan guy,he is so biased and will not give anyone else a chance to speak.

OMG that was terrible,i couldnt make out a word she said and she screeched the whole song.

It was 7 pound in Tesco which tempted me,but what ive heard of it is nowhere near on par with the last album.
