Sunday Chart Predictions - Analysis
Something I found on the internet that may explain more: "Music retailer HMV reports that the limited edition copies of Keane's new single 'Nothing In My Way' on Memory Stick USB format sold out on its first day of release yesterday. Only 1500 were produced in total, stocked exclusively at 220 HMV stores and online via hmv.co.uk. As expected, fans snapped them up in double quick time - in many cases pre-ordering them last week in order to reserve their copies before they even went on sale. " I see they're already going for £20-ish on ebay.

Do sales of the USB memory stick count towards Keane's chart position?

Top 30 UK Music DVD's
Where would these new CD/DVD pack releases chart? (ie, a CD album and a DVD of videos/performances of the album's tracks in a single pack) Would they go into the album chart or this one?

Interesting fact about David Hasselhoff's chart run
 Thats the most random chart fact ever!! Well done for finding that!

Xmas No.1 Odds
Eskimo Disco have always been one of the great underrated groups of the 21st century, but I reckon that by managing to get Pingu on vocals they're gonna get the big crossover hit they've been desperate for!

For GA to hold on #2 !!
And how would the OCC calculate the charts on your criteria then? Crazy Frog deserved to be No.1 because it sold more than every other record that week. A sad fact I agree, but thats the way the chart works.

Xmas No.1 Odds
I think that was one of the biggest upsets for a while, the Pop Idol single flopping at No.5. I was desperately hoping that the Darkness would make No.1 though....Jules was just too depressing for Christmas.

Xmas No.1 Odds
I really thought the reality show chart-fixers were on their way out with the relative flop of Steve Brookstein in Xmas 2004, but Shayne Wards 2005 sales were phenomenal....even Band Aid wouldn't have managed to beat him last year. I suppose we just have to hope for a poor winner. Could any kind soul add what song each of the artists in the odds list will be releasing?

Sunday Chart Predictions - Analysis
A surprisingly high selling Top 3 this week, never would have predicted those three artists to shift that much. Bad albums sales for Robbie compared to what he is used to. His singles career has flopped recently, and it looks like he may soon be relegated to the one-week-wonder status in the albums too....

For GA to hold on #2 !!
It deserves to be No.2 if it sells more copies than Fedde Le Grande without resorting to pathetic attempts to manipulate the charts by buying loads of copies.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Pathetic. Get some perspective.

do you think McFly might get one of the fewest weeks on
I predict Mcfly will set a record for only one week on the chart by a No.1. And Girls Aloud will stay on the chart for 200 weeks, with the OCC changing chart rules for them and crowning them queens of the world. Does that satisfy all the GA fans out there or do you want the individual heads of Mcfly too because they happen to be outselling your band?

Sunday Chart Predictions
Also interesting how it appears that debuting at No.5 on downloads is a bit of a curse.... Rihanna couldn't manage No.1 from there and now GA, whereas you'd think it would be a shoe-in.

Sunday Chart Predictions
How far are McFly ahead? Are they likely to be caught?

Sunday Chart Predictions
Fair enough, valid point.
-
Sunday Chart Predictions
Ok fair enough, whatever you say. Shame they are not gonna get it though..... :P

Sunday Chart Predictions
They probably all sound different because of all the different writers they employ, eh?

Sunday Chart Predictions
No I really don't want to argue. It is just really annoying me the amount of Girls Aloud lovers there are on here. They are the epitome of manufactured, I mean for God's sake we all saw it on the telly! They churn out bland covers and they I don't get why people think they have earned a No.1?!? If there was any justice in the world, My Chemical Romance would remain No.1 but thats not gonna happen so I hope a band with some small amount of talent such as McFly keep the wannabes from the top spot.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Good argument. You can tell you're a Girls Aloud fan! :P
-
Sunday Chart Predictions
If anything, McFly "deserve" their No.1 more than Girls Aloud because they write most of their own songs.

Have we had any lists of odds for Christmas No.1 yet??
