I'm all for Cheryl being #1. Having said that, I would LOL if it was because of the X Factor that she was blocked..

I've listened up to Masterpiece so far and think this a return to form from Jessie! I wasn't at all keen on Alive (except Thunder, Breathe and Conquer the World). This just seems like such a well rounded album so far. Deserving of the #1 next week, although I'm sure Ella has it in the bag (unfairly as her album is a let-down IMO).

Thing is, she was massive and everywhere a few years ago , it's kinda impossible for anyone to keep that up. Also everything she was doing was new, 'out there' and shocking, which becomes difficult to top and samey = boring. Audiences are generally quite fickle and move on to someone else.. It doesn't help that 'artpop' is her weakest album IMO. And with the G.U.Y video I have a question.. Does the video have to run all the way to the end for a 'hit' to count??

Loving this album as I knew I would.. Looning over Paloma right now! I do quite like 'Can't Rely On You' but I'm not sure about it leading the era, especially after hearing the rest of the album :wub:

It's an alright song but doesn't stand up against their previous stuff. It really is a shame, until now I considered them as one of only very few that keep the momentum of great era after great era.. However, it's a million times better than that 'midnight' song, so glad they aren't leading with that! They should have stuck with the anthemic sound!

Single choices so far are perfect! 'Partition' is my current favourite .. here's hoping that 'Pretty Hurts' is the next single! :wub:

Love the album title. Although, I would prefer it if she was starting "beef" with Kanye! rather than giving him a "nod" or whatever.
