  1. Closer To Me was their best single.
  2. In good all times 90-99 % just bought / download a single / album only once. Now any insane hit like "Despacito" with billion streams (Spotify/Youtube) will gave very huge unfair boost for album (!!!) numbers. In past you could listen favourite album or some favourited tracks hundred times, but for chart you gave only 1 sale.
  3. It's very usual thing, just check almost every week when hip-hop act got # 1 in Billboard 200. For sample : On January 19, 2019, A Boogie wit da Hoodie's Hoodie SZN became the album with the lowest weekly sales figure for a number-one album, with 1,000 sales. It subsequently did not sell enough to enter the sales-only "Top 100 Album Sales" chart. A week later, the album broke its own record when it stayed at number one for a second week, selling 749 copies.
  4. Only sales. Even if you sold 1000 copies for me it's more important than 1.000.000 "sales" from streaming. Especially weird thing is US album chart, just look how often the acts like Drake have almost zero sales and additional 100+к from streaming.
  5. 99. Shakira - Underneath Your Clothes (2002) UK chart : # 3 "Gražios Dainos" : # 3 "Underneath Your Clothes" became her first and last top 10 single in my chart.
  6. 100. Dido - Life For Rent (2003) UK chart : # 8 "Gražios Dainos" : # 3 In summary I like Dido songs a little less than 20 years ago, but some her singles still very good pieces of pop music.
  7. Courtney Love - Mono It's my favourite single from 2004 year, which sadly was peaked only at # 41 in UK.
  8. Possibly my Top 100 songs from UK Top 40 (2000s decade) will be interesting for Britney fans. Welcome !
  9. Possibly my Top 100 songs from UK Top 40 (2000s decade) will be interesting for Emma and Geri fans. Welcome !
  10. Possibly my Top 100 songs from UK Top 40 (2000s decade) will be interesting for Girls Aloud fans. Welcome !
  11. Possibly my Top 100 songs from UK Top 40 (2000s decade) will be interesting for Steps fans. Welcome !
  12. Special mentions : Girls Aloud - Theme To St.Trinians No Doubt - Simple Kind Of Life Jewel - Intuition Hot Pantz - Give You One For Christmas Corrs - Old Town These songs didn't reach top 40 in UK, but were big # 1 hits in my chart.
  13. Before a main countdown we have a small bonus part. Please, don't judge me for it. In 70s, 80s, 90s my favourite song from decade was represented in UK Top 40. Let's listen my # 1 from 2000s. This "blonde ladies anthem" was the highlight in YVA career and spent 11 weeks at # 1 in my weekly chart. YVA - Brunetes Blondines (2007) - 10/10 10/10 is very rare score, but you will see six (!!!) songs with the highest mark.
  14. Good luck to Maria Mathea.
  15. Welcome, after a long pause I like to introduce my 4th big countdown. 😉 My previous rankings were : - all 100 ABBA songs (from the best to the worst) - Top 100 songs from girls groups - Top 100 Eurovision songs I started with 2000s, because it's my favourite decade in music and many my favourites were successful in UK official chart. Also my finished weekly "Gražios Dainos" charts for 2000-2003 years helped very much in compilation of this countdown. In my dreams I wish to do the similar lists for 70s, 80s and 90s. Only songs from UK top 40 are legal for this countdown, so somewhere near 85-90 % songs are well-known and can bring your interest to my hitlist. Top 5 songs are very predictable, but you can try to name the singers/groups with 4 and more hits in this list.
  16. Are you ready to listen Victoria Silvstedt in the heat # 5 ?
  17. These tracks are available not only on "Rumours", but on "50 Years – Don't Stop" compilation too. If you or anybody else will stream these three songs, which album will get them ?
  18. Sue recorded only 5 singles (all were # 1s in my chart), the one from them (You Gotta Be A Hustler If You Want To Get On) was a minor hit (# 25 in UK). "Hustler" spent 10 weeks on the top of my retro chart and it's my favourite song from 1980s decade. Sue Wilkinson's discography (Singles) : - You Gotta Be A Hustler If You Wanna Get On - Posers - Time'N'Tide - Women Only - Toy Boys
  19. 26 weeks in my chart. Chartrun : 1-1-1-1-1-2-2-2-4-3-5-4-5-6-7-7-9-10-11-13-15-16-18-20-25-27 Strong contender for top 10 (at least) in my future Top 100 songs from UK chart in 2000s decade.
