  5. OMG. Australia was my # 1 in 2019, but I dislike the staging.
  6. It's catchy and memorable, there are not many performances (not songs), which I can remember many years after. For me is a big mystery how they finished so low in that very week year. I still feel a winners spirit in "Flying The Flag (For You)". Neighbours voting of South and Eastern Europe ruined ESC 2007. The highest "Western" country was Latvia on 16th (!!!) place.
  7. From Eurovision : Krista Siegfrids - Marry Me Scooch - Flying The Flag (For You) For Eurovision songs from the pre-selections : Moje 3 - Ljubav Je Svuda LW7TAdytfww Anmary - Beautiful Song (She was gorgeous on Eurovision scene, but NF performance, could bring more love for Beautiful Song) DuOBY-S63Rk
  8. Bosnia and Herzegovina 1. Feminnem - Call Me (2005) - 7 2. Maya Sar - Korake Ti Znam (2012) - 6 Best result in my Eurovision ranking : 3rd place (2005) Kqof50gLBIo Unpredictable schlager song from ex-Yugoslavian republic.
  9. Belgium 1. Iris - Would You ? (2012) - 8 Best result in my Eurovision ranking : Winner (1998) * Best result in last 25 years : 3rd place (2012) * - Lucky 6/10 song won a battle against Greece and Croatia, Micha Marah "Hey Nana" (8/10) is my favourite Belgian entry (2nd place in 1979). In 2008 year Belgium didn't appreciate fantastic "Decadance" by Femme Fatale (from me 9/10 rate and # 1 in weekly chart), another lost iconic Eurovision song. Just watch her performance in national pre-selection (sadly the quality of video is poor, we deserved HD version) : Katrina Leskanich liked her performance, but other jury members didn't share this love.
  10. Belarus This country didn't select anything good for Eurovision, but I don't want to skip Belarus in this thread. Wonderful Janet Buterus (half Belarusian, half Lithuanian) is a local equivalent of Sanna Nielsen, but without happy-end (Eurovision participation). Her song from 2020 year "Flying Free" was written by famous Swedish sisters Ylva and Linda Persson and became a highlight (if we talk about a quality of song, because juries didn't move Janet into the final) from all her unsucessful attempts. "Rhapsody Of Eurovision" (2018) was funny, could be iconic entry. I lost a chance to have third 10/10 Eurovision entry (after "All Kinds Of Everything" and "Beautiful Song"). Only 20 songs from all history of pop music got 10/10 in my rankings, so catch a moment. There is also one other song with the highest rate, which related to Eurovision national pre-selections, which will take a crown in my future Melodifestivalen ranking. JSlvKa1oXOs
  11. Thanks for a link, also I know one Swedish guy, who posted on UKMix forum in past. Anmary was peaked at # 2 in his weekly chart, behind Slovenian entry. "Beautiful Song" fanclub :yahoo:
  12. Austria 1. Zoe Straub - Loin D'Ici (2016) - 6 2. Paenda - Limits (2019) - 6 Best result in my Eurovision ranking : Winner (1971, 1982) Best result in last 25 years : 2nd place (2019)* 3xuPYt5i5cE * - Australia was # 1, so Austria had the best result from European countries.
  13. Andorra 1. Susanne Georgi - La Teva Decisio (Get A Life) (2009) - 9 2. Gisela - Casanova (2008) - 8 3. Marta Roure - Jugarem A Estimar-Nos (2004) - 7 Best result in my Eurovision ranking : Winner (2008, 2009) Interesting fact : The lowest rate from six Andorran entries is 5/10. x1O25Q1fDdI

  16. 10 votes :cheer: Thanks for the supporting.
  17. I started to listen music in 16, so don't have any childhood memories. In Internet era, which was started for me in May 2011, I mostly listen retro stuff from 1970s to 2000s. My starting point was UK singles chart (from start to 1998), after it I dived into the charts of other countries and low-known / forgotten music from the selected period (1970-2012).
  18. I started to prepare the similar top for Melodifestivalen, but it's a long road, so let's update this thread with the songs list from last 25 years, which got a positive mark (from 6/10 to Anmary). 21. Many years ago I watched old personal charts from Eurovision 2012 period. Sadly I forgot the name of forum person, who suprisingly had Beautiful Song very high in his/her chart. (possibly in top 5).
  22. Last Dreamer posted a post in a topic in The Music Lounge
I always loved "Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me" more than "Pull Shapes".
  23. Thanks for very nice comment. I love Krista, she is a beautiful and lovely person, singer and mom. Sadly her Melfest entries weren't so good as "Marry Me", "Seventeen" and UMK20 (I even charted it) 2hir2iXJVvo Did you hear her cover version of Diva together with ... Lordi ? 1ZEyd8xlo4A Yes, Melfest equivalent of this countdown will coming soon. Like in ESC version, there are many DNQ entries which will get their fifteen minutes of fame (at least in my ranking).
