Girls Aloud V Sugababes
In my opinion, Sugababes comes across as a slightly unstable band (evident in it's constant change in line up), yes they have some great songs (PTB, AYN), and yes they may have had more No.1 singles than Girls Aloud, but they also have some disapointments i.e: flops, where as Girls Aloud never fail to deliver brilliant pop songs all of which have never charted out of the top 10. The Sugababes have shown that they can last the distance and are great at comebacks, but how long will it be till Sugababes are three girls that weren't even in the original lineup??? it's goin that way! where as Girls Aloud have never had to 'comeback' because they've never, flopped, or lost a member, all 5 girls have stayed loyal to the band and more importantly their fans, because they know thery're onto somthing good...and so do I!........that is why I have voted for Girls Aloud!

Chasing Cars vs Chasing Pavements....
no one notice how 'Chacing Pavements' just sounds like a re-make or a re-arrangement of James Morrisons 'You Give Me Somthing' listen to both songs it's obvious!!

MSN article- "Why The Charts Don't Matter Anymore"
....WHO CARES if some snobs think the chart 'doesn't matter anymore'!! people have been saying that for decades, mainly because they've lost touch & getting old and bitter!!, as long as music is selling (which it always will) there will be a chart of the best selling records! get over it!!

Tesco: changing the way singles are sold
Well if Katie & Eva DO make it to No.1 on Sunday, I hope Tesco's (and other supermarkets) take note! as they'd be stupid not to see the potential, because we have seen a dip in physicals since the supermarkets have pulled out. most of the genral public won't go out to their local HMV just to buy a single, but if they happen to stumble accross somthing whilest doing there weekly shop, it would probably be lashed in the trolly! (which I guess is whats happening with the Melua/Cassidy CD) ALSO do we know if the supermarkets will be stocking the X Factors single this year??

Next Weeks No.1
TBH I'd rather Cascada then Soulja, at least there is a version of 'Last Christmas' on the single! thats what we want this time of year! not songs like 'Crank That'! it would just be like Akon's brilliantly orginal :puke2: 'Smack...That' from last year, see a pattern in the titles here anyone??? <_<
