Ke$sha song = Truly hideous American trash... :puke2:

 Predictably on here...

2nd that!

I think its more pathetic that old songs that are used on the Xfactor always shoot up, like the public need to be told (or reminded) that they like the songs! <_<

Good song, just not the right choice for a 1st single after being away for so long! can't wait to hear the rest of the album though!

As much as I have enjoyed the X-Factor over the years - it is quite evident that the show is slowly becoming 'American Idol' with each year that passes, I saw the video to Steve Brookstein's No.1 the other day, and the clips of the show are up recognisable, modest set, smaller audience..and so on. I know this is mostly down to budjet increase and popularity, but it seems the shows inocenece is gone along with it, just like 'Big Brother' before it, the contestants are now no longer your average 'nobody' off the streets, they are now fame hungry-attention seeking wannabes, or have previously been in 'The Westend', S Club juniours etc... This is WHY I want John & Edward to win this year, if only to prove to Cowell you can only manipulate the public so much, before they turn against you!! The public are the real power here! VOTE FOR JOHN AND EDWARD!!

question 5 is not a yes/no question

These personal predictions always make me laugh when people throw in random acts like that!

Hate this, over exposure of an album, all potential singles flood the charts in week of release... :(

Agree with this. There have been some terrible xmas No.1s in the past, I think the choices (Simon makes  ) have been good so far, although not to keen on covers of 'well known' songs they've all had a seasonal-ish sound to them, which is what we need at that time of year!! Leona's was perfect for her, and in my eyes an orginal, as I have no interest in Kelly Clarkson (or any US Idol winner <_< )

I have a horrible premonition of 'Afro' winning, and covering Aerosmith's 'Don't Want To Miss A Thing' :( I just think thats how Simon C's mind works!

No argument (how ever weak you may find it) intended, it is how I feel about the situation. But to think that illegaly downloading up and coming artists releases is in some way helping them is somewhat delusional. This whole 'the gigs is where the money is' is irrelevent, how are these artists supose to arrange or even warrent a gig/festival appearence, when no one is willing to spend a penny on their music?

THE Fray, THE Feeling, THE Hooisers, THE Darkness, THE So Solid Crew ;), enough with the 'The' ones. Busted, McFly, The 411, Hoobstank (or whatever they were called..yawn) V, Vs, Scootch, One Night Only, Orson, The Rasmus, Limb Biskit, Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm...I don't want to think of anymore :puke2:

I kind of understand what your saying, but when you say people who 'have' thousands of songs, do you not mean people that WANT thousands of songs?? I think it comes down to..don't buy what you can't afford....but thats just me.

Also, unfourtunatly these kids are growing up thinking its perfectly OK to download illegally, I don't think anything is going to change this, which is a shame. :( I look at the old theory, I wouldn't walk into a shop and steal a CD, why would I do it on the sly, in the comfort of my own home?

Too costly??! I don't agree with that at all! what do you want, 1p singles?? What people seem to forget is 10 years ago we had to fork out around £2.99 for a CD single (pre-download days), and average sales for No.1 singles where much higher than now! This coming back to what the person mentioned earlier, great 'unit' sales are up, but the profits will be no where near as high!

 Are u for real?

Great result for Cheryl, knew this would happen!

Well, I just found the comment abit uncalled for tbh, I'm not into picking fights on here (or anywhere) at all, but you don't go about calling people 'ignorant' beacause they haven't heard of some singer!! I apologize but just found it a abit rude thats all. PS: V.much English..typos happen...

Thanks for you suggestion! :) Although I find being called ignorant by someone who can't string a sentence in English together a little hypicritical, and quite offensive..

Cause Cheryl will be No.1  I don't even know who this 'Jay Sean' person is, people keep goin on about??! and im sure 'Joe public' (typical X-Factor audience) doesn't know/care as well!!

Great sales for Alex, good song aswell, thankgod she didn't go the trashy Gaga/Britney/(recent) Sugababes sound! or somthing to do with Taio Cruz :puke2: Although anyone else find the 'Flo Rida' apperance on X-Factor abit..cringworthy??

Yeh deffinatly a Love Song clone, but good for Buble!

Sadly it's like that with most of THEM 'songs' do you think people bought ANY of Jay-Zs songs for his rapping?? or the use of a famous artist or someone who CAN hold a note together and give the song some life/reason for existance??? Either that or sample some well known or catchy song that everyone knows. TBH honest I thought we moved on from trash like this topping the charts, saddly I thought wrong, it's like Blazin' Squad & 'Baby Cakes' rolled in to one repulisve 'CHAV' (yes I've said it, what u gonna do???) appealing mess.... :puke2: <_<

I think Robbie Williams will beat Alexandra next week to be honest! think of the fanbases, Robbie's is much more established! I'll be buying both  love chart battles!!! Hope Robbie gets it by 1 copy though!
