Top 50 Singles of 2009
The next few months will hopefully see a big shake up in the whole top 20!

Estimated average singles sales by chart position
Makes sense really, back then we only had what was in the top 40 availible to us, and shops like woolies and the supermarkets wouldn't sell the whole chart anyway. Now the choice is endless and readily availible 24/7. A massive leap when you just stop and think about! I would have found the concept unbelievable 10 years ago!

Sunday Chart Predictions
This is sad, as the music featured on it is, VERY cliche and predictable, also the show is edited to DEATH by Mr Cowell. heres the 'soundtrack' for diffrent occasions. 'Young girl at auditions awaiting 'good' response from judges: Christina Aguilera - Voice Within/Mariah Carey - Hero 'Manchester auditions': Take That - Relight My Fire (EVERY YEAR seriously!) 'Young black male' artist/group recieveing good respose from judges: R Kelly - Worlds Greatest ...anyone else see this pattern?? I could go on!!

Cheryl Cole-Fight For This Love
Could be No.1, but i've said top 5, depends what she's up against that week. Saying that, thats somthing that gets me, why are all the major releases/comebacks/debuts (call them what you will!) all focused on the last few months of the year???! OK theres Christmas, but theres been some dire weeks for releases earlier on in the year! PS: The song kind of, sort of, reminds me of 'Lil Star' by Kelis..abit!

iTunes Chart // September II
Im sorry to say this, but Pixie Lott comes across as a bit of an 'air head' I doubt we will be seeing a long succesful music career from her. More like right place, right time... (or daddy works for the record label) PS: actually I'm not sorry to say that.

iTunes Chart // September II
Well I supose Kanye kind of attempted singing on these tracks...a whole record of Jay-Z, no appeal to me what-so-ever! <_<

iTunes Chart // August III - September I
Agree with this totally..I will say no more.

Leona Lewis - Echo
Great, so scumbags will have plenty of time to 'Limewire' the hell out of it months before we get the release date! <_< forget the US, premire it on Xfactor!
-
"Happy" • First Single
hope this is not true! WHY should the hell should the US get the premire anyway??
-
Backstreet Boys - " Straight Through My Heart" Video!!!
Not sure about the dancing! but I preffer this to their recent 'piano/soft rock stuff. This is almost classic 'Millienium' style BSB!

Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread
Well it is really a 'swear word', in this context. Not a word frequently used in polite conversation, and somehow I don't think this song is refering to a female dog  ..... I hope not anyway.

iTunes Chart // August II
Seriously the charts this year are a pile of sh*t! OK so sales are up..(singles anyway, I havn't had the urge to buy ONE single album this year, its not that I don't want to its just well...look for yourself) Let me set this straight, Gaga is good, one of the only orginal, welcome acts of this year, a true 'pop star' in the classic sense. But on the other hand, the constant returns to No.1 by 'no marks' like Tinchy Strider...(will he be around in 10 years time I ask??) acts like FLO RIDA??! CASCADA???!!! and don't get me started about Calvin Harris, a guy that has about as much charisma as a concrete breeze block, and fancies himself as some kind of DJ GOD. HAHA! and whats round the corner?? Simon Cowell's annual line up of pre-planded No.1s (co-insiding with an appearence on a certain saturday night talent show) Susan Boyle No.1 for 6 weeks anyone???

iTunes Chart // July II
There are alot of programs online, but most of them you have to pay. Saying that some offer free trials, 'Mixcraft' is one that comes to mind.

UK charts set to reflect music gaming downloads

Sunday Chart Predictions
As much as I feell MITM at No.1 would have been a fitting tribute to the late 'King of pop' part of me is glad 'NEW' music is prevailing - this is 2009 afterall!
-
Acts with 3 or more consecutive silver selling singles
I'm sure loads of acts have achived this, especially in the late 90s, when you look at the likes of Steps, B*Witched, Geri Halliwell, All Saints..etc

Sunday Chart Predictions
Don't care about the amazing sales, because frankly the song doesn't deserve them!

iTunes Thread // Mid May
Oh dear... Listen, im not comparing their awards or 'critical acclaim' I am simply stating A FACT that chavs like them!!!!! you know what, EXCUSE me for not jumping on this lastest 'Bandwagon'!!! TBH with this particualr one I would rather WALK! let the 'cool' festival-going people like who they like! AND let me have my opinion! having an opposing one in this place is like being thrown to the lions!!
-
iTunes Thread // Mid May
C'mon I'm not goin that far! I just don't like it, and I THINK it sounds like somthing a chav would like to play...on their phones....when u are sitting infront of them on the train/bus. Well, I suppose there had to be a succesor to Flo rida, or Cascada one day didn't there??!
-
iTunes Thread // Mid May
Yeh? well I still hate it....and chavs still love it
-
iTunes Thread // Mid May
No you certainly are NOT! it is vile to the highest degree.....It is sad that this is the most populat song in this country at the moment. ...perfect soundtrack to chav-infested, binge drinking, gang crime, creditcrunch Britain....
