A schedule clash between BBC talent show The Voice and Britain’s Got Talent on ITV is all but 'inevitable'. The broadcasters are already embroiled in a bitter war for Saturday nights - despite the fact their rival entertainment shows have yet to air. Britain’s Got Talent star Alesha Dixon confirmed the ITV show will start on Saturday March 24 – the same day as the corporation’s new show launches. Now BBC insiders have conceded a clash between the two programmes is likely. Schedules have yet to be finalised but BBC1 is aiming to broadcast the first episode between 7 and 7.30pm. An ITV insider admitted it plans to schedule Britain’s Got Talent between 7.45 and 8pm on the same night. As the opening episode of The Voice will be at least 75 minutes long – this means there will be an overlap between the two. Davy was the English one, born in Leamington Street, Openshaw but lived in Denton, Manchester and my favourite of the band.
