  1. He certainly was - not bad dancing though Kelly Clarkson was amazing though. Why can't we have more British acts instead of US acts. On each show it's 2 US acts to 1 UK act. The acts should be the same as the themed week. This week they should all have been rock acts. What do we get - 2 rubbish urban acts.
  2. Totally agree I'm missing Amelia - Amelia should have been saved not mediocre Misha.
  3. There is - Johnny - Thought i'd never say it but he's worse than Wagner When Johnny comes on my cat won't stop meowing. My cat even sound better.
  4. Tulisa - hasn't a clue what rock is First we had Rhythmix with the Salt N Pepa hit Push It -- this was RnB of the late 80s Then we had The Risk with Gnarles Barkley hit Crazy -- Pop/RnB I also remember Ruth Lorenzo from Series 5 singing Purple Rain in the sing-off and blitzed it Misha castrated the song My bottom 2 this week would be Johnny and Misha
  5. I saw the carnage unfold on Sky Sports last night whilst watching the race on lap 11. 15 cars involved in total. There were concerns beforehand about so many cars (34) racing on this short oval, cars 3 & 4 wide at speeds of over 220mph. There are many more cars and drivers in the series due to Champ Car folding in 2008 and joining Indycar. Dario Franchitti now drives the car that Dan Wheldon drove back in 2007 for Target Chip Gnassi - No. 10. Dario Franchitti who now becomes champion for the 4th time said I don't care, I never want to win neither a race or championship like this all I can think about is Dan. He was such a great driver, a great guy and a great friend. All I can say is I dedicate it to Dan and his family. Our thoughts go out to his wife Susie and his 2 sons (2 year old Sebastian and Oliver born in March this year). Dan (33), born in Olney Buckinghamshire was a brilliant driver having won the championship in 2005 and the Indy 500 the same year and also again this year. He had to be extricated from his car and was airlifted to a local hospital with what were described as "serious injuries". He subsequently died of his injuries. Among other injured drivers was Britain's own Pippa Mann who was also taken to hospital with concussion. R.I.P. Dan - you are a legend. My favourite singles of the Moodies are: Boulevard De La Madaleine - from 1965 and from 1970 - Question One from each incarnation
  8. I'm hoping Johnny & Misha or Nu Vibe in the bottom 2 tomorrow They're the only acts I really dislike. Johnny is just a complete joke like Wagner & Jedward.
  9. Nancy Sinatra's was actually a cover already - the original was by Cher #3 in 1966 I would have loved Sami to sing You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' with her big voice on a great Spector song.

    And she's only 12
  11. After seeing Kitty sing Who Wants To Live Forever last week Louis said it had never been recorded by a female singer. Yet again he's wrong. This is German band Dune featuring the gorgeous Verena with a brilliant version from 1996. It was a massive hit all over Europe. Here's the video JuNGdkOkk6o

I'd go along with that. If they wanted someone really mature how about Lulu or Robin Gibb - they've both had hits in 4 decades so they'd really know what they're talking about.

I won't watch it if all the judges are urban. They should be a complete mix. It's bad enough 2 urban judges on X Factor.

At the moment i'm preferring USA Of the final 12 in UK I only like 5 Janet Sophie Frankie Rhythmix Craig Marcus - so-so But what's that clown Johnny still doing there!! Also Steve Jones is a much better presenter than Dermot O'Dreary
  15. Carolynne Poole who was in the last 8 of Louis' Overs at judges houses - back in 2003 appeared in Fame Academy in which she reached the final under her maiden name of Carolynne Goode. http://www.worldcharts.co.uk/images/other/carolynnethen.jpg Carolynne in Fame Academy singing True Colours pb4Uv84bOTM http://www.worldcharts.co.uk/images/other/carolynnenow.jpg Carolynne in X Factor singing The Climb nF0ysGrzqzQ
  16. Anyone know if Rebecca Ferguson will be guesting on the show as she has her single out on December 05. It's called - Nothing's Real But Love
  17. I agreed with the judges last night except for 2. Johnny should have gone not Jonjo (like Gary said Johnny's just a circus act - Mind you Louis always has to have one) Misha should have gone not Amelia (Misha's just a shouter) The ones I would send home now. Overs - Johnny Groups - Nu-Vibe Boys - Craig (just) Girls - Misha

They've been together since they were 11 years old, but after 12 years it looks like N-Dubz could be calling it a day. Rapper Dappy told reporters: "The band is definitely going to quiet down for the next year and a half to two years. We may release some stuff every six months but it will definitely be quieter. Then at the end of that period, we will do a greatest hits or best of N-Dubz. Then that'll be it: finished." Their fans - both of them - are said to be devastated. Thank goodness they're crap anyway :yahoo:

Personally I hate the live auditions. I much prefer the old format as we saw more auditions. The first quarter of the show was all taken up by that awful ageing wannabe rocker. He just made me cringe.

  24. Amy Winehouse, the singer, has been found dead at her home at the age of 27. Blake Fielder-Civil, 27, who was divorced ten days ago from the singer, has revealed that he saved Amy by giving her the kiss of life. Amy Winehouse went into a fit after a three-day drugs binge The couple had spent three days getting wasted on heroin and cocaine when Amy, 25, suddenly started foaming at the mouth and went into a fit. "Her eyes suddenly went blank. She started having a fit on the bed. She slid down to the floor before I could stop her," he told The Sun. "She started quivering again and again and it suddenly grew into what seemed like a full-blown epileptic fit." "I was panicking. I didn't know how to help her. I was out of it on drugs as well - and I was sobbing and crying out: 'Amy!'" Blake revealed that he put the Back To Black singer into the recovery position to stop her choking and then pulled her tongue out of her mouth so she couldn't bite it. "She had an awful look on her face, just frightened and pale." "I knelt over her as she kept on fitting. But then suddenly she just passed out and stopped breathing. "I felt sure I was watching her die right infront of me." Blake decribed how he then blew into her mouth to resuscitate her. "At first nothing happened. Then she spluttered and I saw her chest rise," he said. Her friend Juliet Ashby then rushed over to help and called a cab to take the singer to London's University College Hospital as she slipped in and out of a coma. She ended up collapsing again in the casualty department reception and was put on a drip. The drink and drugs binge had started three days earlier in a pub near Heathrow when Amy jetted back from the US - with Pete Doherty joining the "party". Blake begged Amy to quit taking drugs after she nearly died during the bender back in August 2007 and a series of "mini seizures". "She had everything going for her. But she ended up behaving badly just to shock. After a while that just becomes a bore. I'd warned her to stop." "But she always wanted to keep on taking the drugs," he said (courtesy of Metro News)

Helen should have won it with Susan runner-up They were the 2 strongest from the beginning. Jim was just irritating and Tom so weak.
