Team Tom are the worst - Can't stand any of his final 3 -- I thought Claudia & Olivia should have gone through instead of shouting Lara & cry baby Sasha. Team Will - Esmee should have gone through instead of Vikesh. Team Rita - Can't stand Clark but the other 2 are not bad. Team Ricky - Autumn was poor last night. But Emmanuel was great - Steve so-so

Many charts around the world are Friday to Thursday such as: USA - Canada - Germany - Ireland - Japan

Same as including streaming seems to me

I say Ricky got it wrong choosing Emmanuel over Classical Reflection and Letitia over Vikesh. Tom got it wrong on 2 counts. Choosing screeching Lara over Kim and I think he must have chosen Sasha over Lisa because of her tears. Lisa wiped the floor with her. Great that Will kept Esmee. Who needs to go: Team Ricky - Christina Matovu, Hannah Symons, Letitia George, Emmanuel Nwamadi, Stevie McRorie Who needs to go: Team Rita - Mitch Miller, Clark Carmody, Shellyann Evans, Hannah Wildes, Karis Thomas Who needs to go: Team Will - Newtion Matthews, Joyful Soundz, Sheena McHugh, Vikesh Champbaneri, Lucy O'Byrne Who needs to go: Team Tom - Howard Rose, Sharon Murphy, Lara Lee, Sasha Simone, Karl Loxley

So far IMO Ricky has the best team. How Tom could have chosen Sharon - I couldn't tell a word. The ones I can't stand so far that are through are Sharon, Newtion, The big coloured girl that screamed and that music teacher.
  6. Me Too! - Brown Girl In The Ring only peaked at #2 after Rivers Of Babylon peaked at #1 After Rivers Of Babylon peaked at #1 and then gradually slid down the charts as far as #21 then it was flipped and Brown Girl In The Ring climbed back up to #2

"It's My Party" was followed by many other hits, including the sequel "Judy's Turn to Cry" (US No. 5); "She's a Fool" (US No. 5); the protofeminist million-selling "You Don't Own Me," which held at No. 2 for three weeks behind the Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand"; "That's the Way Boys Are" (US No. 12); "Maybe I Know" (US No. 14/UK No. 20); "Look of Love" (US No. 27); and Grammy-nominated "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows" (US No. 13), from the 1965 movie Ski Party. In 1965, she appeared in the beach party film The Girls on the Beach in which she performed three songs: "Leave Me Alone," "It's Gotta Be You" and "I Don't Want to Be a Loser." In all she had 22 Top 100 hits in the US between 1963 & 1968. Unfortunately she only had 2 UK hits. It's My Party #9 in 1964 and Maybe I Know #20 in 1964. 3 of my favourites were Judy's Turn To Cry - Sunshine Lollipops & Rainbows - You Don't Own Me FvPO2gJU4aI Ms4KTpdx1wY R.I.P. Lesley

Well what about Andrea Faustini an Italian on X Factor UK - At least you can understand Esmee who speaks & sings good English. You could hardly understand Andrea. As far as anyone resembling a star - what about Becky Hill. I voted for her until she got voted out and she's had 2 Top 10 hits as a featured artist. Also with X factor, Leona Lewis is the only winner to have a decent career and that is in 11 years. - This is only the 4th series of The Voice. Actually Esmee is the the only one I've liked on the show ever that has had any sort previous career, no matter how long or short.

Black Lace - scourge of the 80's Everyone remembers Agadoo but did you know that in all they had 9 Top100 hits. Even entered the Eurovision Song contest in 1979. They actually came 7th with Mary Ann though the single peaked at #42.

Demis Roussos was a Greek singer and performer who had international hit records as a solo performer in the 1970s after having been a member of Aphrodite's Child, a progressive rock group that also included Vangelis. He had a unique high-pitched voice with great vibrato. He sold over 60 million albums worldwide recorded in many different languages. With Aphrodite's Child he had one UK hit in 1968 - Rain & Tears #29 but had numerous others in mainland Europe. He had 6 solo hits in the UK - 3 of which went Top 10 including a #1 Here's a few of his hits: Rain & Tears - Aphrodite's Child #29 in 1968 YQyxCL1uMlU Solo: Happy To Be On An Island In The Sun - #5 in 1975 3EnCcHhGoFE Forever & Ever - #1 in 1976 BfdkQGQ5xpA When Forever Has Gone #2 in 1976 hIrFollH3rU R.I.P. In that case what was Andrea Faustini doing on the UK version of X Factor. At least Esmee has THE VOICE.

Esmee to win - easily the best yet and will take some doing to beat her. I often would what happened to her. Pity she's got a boyfriend  Here's 3 singles that I already have: Outta Here - #7 in 2009 R6A1HpWgXdw Admit It - #56 in 2009 ues2EUPP9DI Until You Were Gone - (with Chipmunk) - #3 in 2010 yWyGkLuvWgE

Big topic of the moment is that it seems like Dermot O'Dreary is leaving the X Factor after 8 series. :cheer: It is said his replacement could be current co-host of The Voice - Emma Willis If it becomes true it could certainly bring a breath of fresh air to the show. IMO I think Dermot O'Dreary is a rubbish presenter - he's too childish, and very much on the same wavelength as Ant & Dec. I would say Emma has been doing a great job on The Voice last series and looks the same on this. Good luck Emma :cheer:

Just finished watching Jools Holland Hootenanny which I recorded at New Year. Not a bad show with some great artists. All apart from one - the yowling Ruby Turner. Just how can they keep having her on year after year. She definitely can't sing. William Bell was great though as was Ronnie Spector (of the Ronettes) and Paloma Faith. The only other rubbish act apart from RT this year was that Wilko bloke.

How come that some of the singles in your release schedules are already charting high and for weeks. Example: Taylor Swift - Blank Space
