X Factor US
The latest news is that it's not a done deal that Cheryl will be a judge, Louis is also in the frame but Simon says there is only room for one of them. American producers are a little scared of Cheryl's Geordie accent and that the yanks may not be able to tell what she says. I say what about Louis' Irish accent, it's so deep even the English can't always tell what he says. I hope the job goes to Cheryl

One of the most ridiculous things about this country is...
All that Junk mail that comes through the door everyday. All that Spam in your inbox. All the cold calling with people trying to sell you something at all hours day or night. (just telling them to shove it and hang-up on them). And the phone calls and no one is at the other end.

One of the most ridiculous things about this country is...
Here in Greater Manchester and Lancashire we get signs put up - not in Polish but in Urdu and Bengali all over the place. It's disgusting. If people want to live here they should speak English and if they can't they should learn. It looks like graffiti all over the place. Not only that it costs the council tax payers hundreds of thousands. And it's not only signs but council leaflets also that come through the door. And they expect us to respect their culture and dress. If we were in their countries they wouldn't respect our culture and dress and they wouldn't plaster signs in English everywhere.

So is mine. True it's not infalable but since I started with Virgin 18 months ago I have only ever been without it for 6 days in total. When I was offline for more than 2 days I got money refunded. It's actually got UK tech support - it's just that there are some Indians work there and it's a FREE call. Also if a problem can't be fixed by a call to tech support, they will arrange for an engineer to come round. Most times if there are any exchange outages in the area it does not go of completely but just temporarily slows down (usually to around 12 or 13Mb). All I do then is check the status on the website. As for speed, I am fully satisfied. I subscribe to up to 20Mb and the slowest speed I have ever had was 17.31Mb but usually it's around 19.45Mb and I have even had 20.48Mb. I came over from the TRUELY worst ISP in the UK which was TISCALI. It was down at least twice a week. Once I had no internet for 9 days, there was not a hint of a refund. They DID have asian tech support which cost an arm and a leg with sometimes taking up to an hour and a half to get through. Originally I was with Freeserve from 1998 but when Wannadoo took over in around 2004 it just went downhill and went to Tiscali (just because everyone seemed to be on Tiscali). So MushyMan I think you must be one of the very few unfortunate ones. (but you don't state which service you are on - Cable or not). I'm on cable.

American Idol's back
I would have said Andrew or Aaron should have gone. Anyone know what next week's theme is? Either Ryan didn't mention it or ITV edited it out.

Check out the new OCC page
I hate the way they are now only showing the Top 40. I want the old Top 100 back

They won't put up the Irish Charts as they are compiled by I.R.M.A. as Ireland is a different country.

X Factor US
Simon Cowell is set to take X Factor to the US. It is scheduled to premier in September 2011. With Simon Cowell being a judge and executive producer. Simon Cowell is the only judge confirmed for the show so far, however recent rumours have strongly indicated his former colleague on American Idol, Paula Abdul, is one of the front-runners to join him on the judging panel. She along with Cheryl Cole from the British version are speculated to become judges of the American version. British X Factor host Dermot O'Leary is in the running to become the American host. This is the worst decision Simon could make to bring this idiot in. (He won't last 2 minutes over there, many people wouldn't even be able to understand him anyway). Dermot O'DREARY isn't a patch on Ryan Seacrest and a good strong host like Ryan is needed. Dermot O'Dreary is too childish a presenter with about as much personality as a broken egg :puke2: . Many even wish he would go from the UK show. Former Sony music executive Tommy Mottola could replace Simon Cowell as a judge on American Idol (for what could be its final season) and join him on the judging panel for the US version of The X Factor.

American Idol's back
Another shock this week!! Didi going. Just when are the public going to get rid of that rubbish Tim Urban. I mean come on!! 3 times he's been in the bottom 3. I think the judges should have saved Didi. On the other hand perhaps they are saving it in case Siobahn or Crystal are bottom until the Top 5 (highly unlikely but possible). 3 seasons previously the best have ended up only as runner-up to the rubbish winner. Season 2 - Runner-Up - Clay Aiken -- Winner - Ruben Studdard Season 5 - Runner-Up - Katherine McPhee -- Winner - Taylor Hicks Season 8 - Runner-Up - Adam Lambert -- Winner - Kris Allen

All 2010 X-Factor Finalists to be released on downloads
If they were live recordings it wouldn't be much use as half the time you can't hear the acts because of the stupid audience shouting and screaming.
