I sincerely hope it's a massive hit but i'll wait for the album If rubbish JLS can hit then talented Diana really deserves it

My faves were The Twins I wouldn't kick either of them out of bed in a hurry

ITV have axed Heartbeat and The Royal due to lack of finances - yet they spend money on Katie Price. I don't know what anyone sees in that ugly slapper. The sight of her makes me want to :puke2:

Neither am i - they don't deserve to be there in the first place. :puke2: :puke2:

I think it should be girls year. I think there are more talented girl than guys. I vote for Lilly and Siobahn as the finalists. Sadly now Lilly has gone I vote for Crystal in her place. The only girls I DON'T like are Haeley, and Michelle The only guys I like are Casey & Michael Top 12 Girls Ashley Rodriguez Crystal Bowersox Didi Benami Haeley Vaughn Janell Wheeler Katelyn Epperly Katie Stevens Lacie Brown Lilly Scott Michelle Delamor Paige Miles Siobahn Magnus Top 12 Guys Aaron Kelly Alex Lambert Andrew Garcia Casey James Jermaine Sellers Joe Munoz John Park Lee Dewyze Michael Lynche Tim Urban Todrick Hall Tyler Grady

Some people say they don't remember Marcella Detroit Here she is as part of Shakespears Sister along with (ex-Bananarama member Siobahn Fahey) This was the biggest hit STAY which stayed at #1 for 8 weeks in 1992 - they had 10 hits btween 1990 & 1996 _eXw47qb4U0

It's repeated on Wednesday on ITV2 just before American Idol

Hard to say really? Some do - some don't. Look at oldtimers Status Quo. Apart from the brilliant psychedelic stuff from 1968 to 1970 all their hits (over 40 of them) starting with Down The Dustpipe in 1970 have pretty much sounded the same with probably about half a dozen exceptions. Of today's bands you only need look at Pestlife and Mc$h!te who have churned out all the same drivel throughout their careers. As for Mariah Carey she was brilliant in the beginning and then she went all urban and downhill from then on.

Late 50s early 60s singer/actor Anthony Newley (one time husband of Joan Collins) made a return to the chart last week at #173 for the first time in 48 years with his posthumous single Pure Imagination which features Leslie Bricusse. This week it climbs to #84. He had 11 Top 50 hits between 1960 & 1962 including two #1s - Why and Do You Mind. He died in 1999 aged 67. Could be one of the longest gaps between hits. It's from the soundtrack of the 1971 version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Another one here: Marvin Gaye - Abraham Martin & John - 1970 UK#9 (US did not chart) -- original - Dion - 1968 US#4 (UK did not chart) although I prefer Marvin qUn0vvgEvBc David Watts - Jam -- original - The Kinks

Possible because some people bought the alternative single - Stranded by Jay-Z, Bono, The Edge & Rihanna

Great Top 4 but I prefer the original REM version of Everybody hurts. I wish somebody would get rid of all that Glee Cast rubbish :puke2:

Here's another bundle Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing -- originally B-side of Blue Night Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline Gene Pitney - 24 Hours From Tulsa Peter & Gordon - World Without Love Bobby Goldsboro - Honey Gary Puckett & Union Gap - Young Girl Status Quo - Rockin' All Over The World Marmalade - Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing Journey - Don't Stop Believin' Paul Anka - Diana The Troggs – Love Is All Around Donovan – Catch The Wind Drifters – Saturday Night At The Movies Chris Farlowe – Out Of Time Foundations – Build Me Up Buttercup Gerry & The Pacemakers – You’ll Never Walk Alone Spandau Ballet – True Jimi Hendrix – All Along The Watchtower Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell Shakespears Sister - Stay

This makes them TRUE one hit wonders - that is what Guinness called them anyway.

Anyone interested in a list of TRUE UK one hit wonders can see them all to the end of 2009 HERE There are actually 53 of them

Emmerdale's lost the comedy now that Shadrack's departed :(

Reminds me of the charts from mid 1995 to the time before downloads became part of the charts. They were so boring - every new entry entered at its peak. No climbers.

Owl City still #1 :yahoo: OWN UP! - Who the hell boat that crap at #2 :puke2: :puke2: Just goes to show some people will buy any old rubbish. Marina & The Diamonds :cheer: also for Timbaland Feat. Katy Perry
