  1. That's why the theme is such a farse.
  2. I don't see how this had big band instruments in it. ngPXQDIgWQs
  3. What have Proud Mary or River Deep Mountain High got to to with Big Band Week Proud Mary is a country rock song and River Deep Mountain High a Phil Spector song. - Both these are 60s Big Band is 40s - Sinatra - Glenn Miller - Sammy Davis Jr. Ella Fitzgerald - Bing Crosby - Mills Brothers - Ink Spots - Andrews Sisters etc.
  4. DELETED!!
  5. Another pointless theme - I'll give this one a miss WOT - No Michael Buble on Big Band Night results show - That Must Be A First!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:
  6. Oh No not Nicole Shitzinger again. And Big band week again - I'll give it a miss.
  7. Michael Jackson - That's just as bad as Disco. So I will still not be watching. There have already been 2 MJ songs on the lives already. Thriller & Earth Song. What's the betting somebody will do the rubbish Man In The Mirror. As for Queen What's the betting for Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Stop Me Now or We Are The Champions when they did other great songs such as Radio Gaga, Killer Queen, Bicycle Race. As for themes there are much better ones such as Dance/RnB - 60s - Rock (Queen is too restrictive) 90s - Motown Song Book, Country.
  8. I'm disgusted at Mel B sending Lola home yet keeping shite like Stereo Kicks in. These lot are the worst boyband they have ever had on the show. Twice in bottom 2 - clearly many people don't like them - Me for one. Disco Week next week - I'm not going to bother watching next Saturday - I hate disco. Always the same old rubbish. They'd do better having Dance/RnB or Rock week. No wonder the show is losing viewers Look at One Direction and Ella Henderson who never made the final but look at them now. One Direction conquered the US and Ella is doing great with plenty of Top 10s in Europe - getting to #3 in Australia & #6 in New Zealand. Cher Lloyd is doing reasonably well in US. What have the winners done anyway outside UK & Ireland (apart from Little Mix & Leona) nothing. Most have done nothing in the UK either apart from winners singles.
  9. Best - Lauren, Fleur, Ben Bottom 2 - Jay & Stevie Will go (undeservedly) - Lola Did Jack deserve to go - definitely Who put the music to Monster Mash as it is mostly spoken over a backing track with a sung chorus Old song peaking at US#1 in 1962 and UK#3 on re-issue in 1973 vNuVifA7DSU Before last night I thought Stevi would have done Fire - Crazy World Of Arthur Brown (UK#1 in 1968) -- the dance is just right for him en1uwIzI3SE And Ben - Race With The Devil by Gun hj716pc1fC0
  10. The only act I haven't like over the passed 3 weeks has been Ed Sheeran. He's so boring I nearly fall asleep when he's on. But my faves have been Maroon 5 & OneRepublic
  11. What's the betting - GHOSTBUSTERS again. Love to see someone do a version of Monster Mash. Perhaps Stevi - it sure is his week.
  12. Mel B is getting on my nerves now and the way she talks is so irritating And can Jack really sing anything without that guitar or is it stuck to him??? I thought so - movie week always has to have a Whitney Houston song in there somewhere.
  13. My Top 3: Fleur, Lauren, Ben My Bottom 2: Stevi, Jake Will leave: Jake -- then surely Stevi next week
  14. I think Bryan Adams - Everything I Do would be good for Ben!
  15. Will Young - no way :puke2: :puke2: Mel C instead of Mel B -- :yahoo: I mean what had Mel B done musically outside the Spice Girls almost zilch.
  16. Not quite every other. You mean like the former rubbish called Westlife. They are quite diabolical compared to even One Direction, Take That, 'N Sync or Backstreet Boys Also - boy do they look rough :puke2:
  17. Mel B is really getting on my t*ts - she should be replaced next year by the best Spice Girl Mel C or Leona Lewis who knows what it's like as she's gone through it herself. Jessie J & Maroon 5 were both great last night Ed Sheeran next week - Boooooooring!!! The next 3 IMO that should go are: Stevi Stereo Kicks Jake I also wish Jack would do something without that stupid guitar.
  18. poppet15 posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Only 4 singles so far this year have stayed at #1 for more than 1 week Pharrell Williams - Happy (3) Clean Bandit - Rather Be (4) Ella Henderson - Ghost (2) Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong (2) Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass (3) so far
  19. My top 3 right now are: 1. Fleur 2. Lauren 3. Ben Out this week should go Stevi and either Chloe or Stereo Kicks It was supposed to be 80's last night but there were two 70s songs in there. Lola - Imagine - a #6 hit for John Lennon in 1975 Paul - If You Don't Know Me By Now - a #9 hit for Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes in 1973 It's time the mentors got their themes correct.
  20. I see Cheryl chose the idiot for her Wild Card :puke2: My double elimination choices this week would have to be Stevi & Chloe
  21. Sorry I have the opposite opinion - I think she's just a snob. :(
  22. My final 3 would be: Fleur Ben Only The Young
  23. Just what was Cheryl thinking about passing through that Chloe Jasmine. Just wait till she has to sing something more up-to-date. She'll get slaughtered. Kerrianne should have gone through deffo and Lola instead of Emily. Thank goodness that Stevie has gone. Just how he got passed Room Auditions puzzles me. All he can do is act the goat. Mind you the same could be said about Chloe Jasmine. You can't even tell what she's talking about. And they wonder why they are losing viewers
  24. Just why do they call it Judges Houses when it's clearly not.
  25. I completely agree with you here on all counts. I only wish that New Boy Band had gone with them. My choices would have been: Only The Young Concept "New Girl Band"
