List of records that peaked at Number 41
No - #76 should be the worst after #101 as 101-200 are not even published. Anyone got a list of singles that peaked at #100?

How obsessive chart fan are you
I am highly obsessive about the charts - but not just in the UK but worldwide especially UK, USA, all the European charts & Australia. This is because I like to see how my favourite acts are doing in other countries and all the other good stuff out there apart from UK & USA. I think the UK charts are better now as they are slower moving unlike what they were like 10 or 15 years ago when a track charted at it's peak one week and 2 weeks later it had gone, and another couple of weeks the single deleted. I think including downloads was the best thing that happened to the UK charts. I also hate cut-down charts like the BBC has just the Top 40. I like them complete such as the full UK Top 100 which is official. As well as UK & USA, even Ireland has a full Top 100 now as does Germany, Holland, and Australia. France even has the Top 200. I am also obsessive about archive charts from as far back as possible in different countries. I even have charts from UK & USA as far back as 1940. Also it's very rare I listen to UK radio stations - I usually listen to Radio 538 (Holland) or Antenne Bayern (Germany)

Just why are UK way behind releases
And I thought that the UK was supposed to be at the forefront of the music. Apart from UK & US music it seems we are at the back. And R1 wonder why listening figures keep dropping as people can now listen to many foreign stations online. One way to help is to release everything in UK US & mainland Europe at the same time

Just why are UK way behind releases
Typical UK. Yet if it's a US track especially an urban track radio is all over it. Although even US country doesn't get a look in either like it used to. Look at Manchester's own Rixton - 19 weeks on the US chart but only charted here 8 weeks ago. I wonder how UK acts would do in other countries if they had the same attitude. It would serve record companies right if mainland Europe had this attitude and UK acts didn't do so well. Until the UK changes it attitude, I think mainland Europe should adopt the same.

Just why are UK way behind releases
Just why are the UK so far behind mainland Europe releasing European singles. Here are a few examples: Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong -- 8 months behind Klingande - Jubel -- was 9 months behind Klangkarussell - Sonnentanz -- was nearly 1 year behind Bakermat - Vandaag-- is nearly 1 year behind Stromae - Papaoutai -- was released last year Enrique Iglesias feat Sean Paul, Descemer Bueno & Gente De Zona – Bailando -- 5 months behind I'd just like to know why it takes the UK record companies so long to release singles

Nico & Vinz vs Envy
Nico & Vinz is a Norwegian singing/songwriting duo composed of Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery. They formed in 2009 as Envy and are based in Oslo.[1] They changed their name to to Nico & Vinz in January 2014 after the international success of "Am I Wrong". Am I Wrong was originally released in 2013 (show how far behind the UK is when releasing European music) when the band was called Envy. It peaked at #2 in Norway, Denmark & Sweden also at #5 in Finland. I got my copy just before last Christmas. It was even a US hit long before release in the UK. This is the followup (In Your Arms) that has already been a big hit in Scandinavia. (Shows how far behind UK are). cn68jvqLHe4

Nico & Vinz vs Envy
The new #1 from Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong is doing great worldwide. Actually it is not the only version - It was originally released under their previous name - Envy nearly 9 months ago Confusing or what? Here's the cover of mine: http://www.worldcharts.co.uk/images/other/envy.jpg

Soul legend Bobby Womack dies
Bobby Womack died on June 27, 2014 at age 70. Though the cause of death is currently unknown, he had a number of health issues including diabetes, prostate cancer, heart trouble, colon cancer and pneumonia. An active recording artist since the early 1960s, when he started his career as the lead singer of his family musical group the Valentinos and as Sam Cooke's backing guitarist, Womack's career spanned more than 50 years and spanned a repertoire in the styles of R&B, soul, rock and roll, doo-wop, gospel, and country. Womack wrote and originally recorded (with the Valentinos) The Rolling Stones' first UK No. 1 hit, "It's All Over Now" and New Birth's "I Can Understand It" among other songs. As a singer in the UK he is most notable for the song which was massive in discos at the time called "Lookin' For a Love". In 2009, Womack was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Only 6 months ago he appeared on Jools Holland's Hootenanny. His biggest UK hit was a duet with Lulu in 1993 called I'm Back For More peaking at #27. R.I.P. The Voice UK · Series 3
Yet again the British public got it wrong for the 3rd time. Jermain shouldn't have even been in the final. He just makes me fall asleep. I hope his album flops. Christina Marie was the best of the whole competition by miles. She can sing anything from ballads to pop to rock. Her collaboration with Kaiser Chiefs and her rendition of Coldplay's Fix You were perfection. I wouldn't even have minded as much should Sally or Jamie won - but Jermain :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:

The Voice UK · Series 3
This is my vote for the final Winner: Christina Marie Runner-up: Sally 3rd Jamie 4th Jermaine - I nearly always fall asleep when he is on. Christina Marie did an amazing job with Bang Bang although some of the were changed from the Cher hit. Cher's 1966 #3 hit version i-wk7-pRqCo

The Voice UK · Series 3
I fully agree Also I can't understand why they voted for Bizzi over Georgina after he performed one of Stevie Wonder's weakest songs. My final 4 would now be: Sophie May Jamie Sally Christina Marie My problem with Jermaine is he's stuck in the 50s. Sounds very much like a Nat King Cole Lee is awful with no charisma. - Reminds me of boring Matt Cardle Bizzi & Chris are both just average

The Voice UK · Series 3
Anyone noticed that the live shows are from London but all up to the Knockouts are from MediaCityUK, Salford. Seems the BBC are wasting money again having the cost of transporting all the sets. If they needed somewhere larger there is a place called the M.E.N Arena around 2 miles down the road with a 21,000 capacity. Also it has been confirmed Kylie won't be on the Series 4 due to other work commitments.

The Book of British Hit Singles returns
Sadly even though this book was only published last August it has now gone out of print. The only way to get this book now is from anywhere that has stock left. It is still for sale HERE but costs £30

The Voice UK · Series 3
Georgia is Adele's cousin not her sister.

The Voice UK · Series 3
Just what was Ricky thinking of choosing Emily over Beth. Beth was far superior. Small mercies though with Jazz not getting through. Steven should have gone through - he was miles better than Bizzi

The Voice UK · Series 3
I think the same way about Jazz. I hated her attitude towards 16 year old Luciee just for being a fan of Kate B.

Predict : Christina Perri - Human
How come the poll only goes down to Top 40 when the official chart is Top 100. So to me a flop is one that doesn't make Top 100. It's just the stupid old BBC that only goes to 40. Anyway a great track from a great singer. Can't wait for the album. My favourite track off her last album was A Thousand Years.

When Will Happy Leave The Top 10?
I wish it was gone already. It was great at first but it has been subject to overkill. I don't mind chart longevity but I hate radio overkill.

whats a double A side?
The Beatles were kings of the Double A side in the 60s with singles such as: Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You I Want To Hold Your Hand / This Boy Can't Buy Me Love / You Can't Do That We Can Work It Out / Day Tripper Yellow Submarine / Eleanor Rigby Penny Lane / Strawberry Fields Forever All You Need Is Love / Baby You're A Rich Man Hey Jude / Revolution Rolling Stones had 3 19th Nervous Breakdown / Play With Fire Let's Spend The Night Together / Ruby Tuesday We Love You / Dandelion In the US for chart purposes Billboard charted them as separate singles. Many other acts had the odd Double A side One noticeable single in 1979 was that of Boney M: Rivers Of Babylon / Brown Girl In The Ring - Radio mainly played Rivers Of Babylon which became a number one hit. Clubs were playing Brown Girl In The Ring. When Rivers Of Babylon slipped down the charts as far as #21 Radio started playing Brown Girl In The Ring and the single climbed back up the charts to #2. On odd occasions the A & B sides were flipped after release mainly due to popularity. A couple I remember were: Four Pennies - Tell Me Why flopped on initial release and they flipped it so that the original B side became the A side and was a #1 hit. The song was Juliet - back in 1964 Another from 1971 was by Rod Stewart. Reason To Believe was the original A side peaking at #19. It was then flipped so that the original B side became the A side and was a #1 hit. The song was Maggie May.

Coach Trip
Best program on the channel by miles. The other 2 series (Love Boat & Mystery Tour) with Brendan we absolute garbage.
