It is the obvious fifth single choice for sure. And if it does well, she can close the era with Sheisse, then it doesn't matter so much if radio doesn't play it/it flops :D

I think Down For Whatever, Lay It On Me and Turn It Up sound like perfect potential singles ;)

I would be VERY surprised if the album wasn't over a million come 2012 as she has a minimum of 2 singles left this year for sure, You and I around August/Sept time, and another around Nov/Dec time, and I am sure it will remain in the top 10/20 over the entire xmas period :)

I must admit, this album has really grown on me! When she inevitably releases the 2nd deluxe version, I might actually purchase :kink: I had to change the tracklist around on my iTunes though as I HATE the current one :lol: Schoolin Life and especially Dance For You should have been on the standard edition for sure! I would have replaced I Miss You and Rather Die Young

Oh I love I'm Dat Chick :kink: ("dat"??? really Kelly? :puke2: ). You are right about Down for Whatever though. RedOne can be far too generic sometimes although I still like the song. All in all I am impressed. It is a thousand times better than Beyonce's latest effort anyway that's for sure :lol:

Eughhh this is turning out to be quite a mess of a situation! I really wish they could have resolved this behind closed doors, without getting the public involved as it is tarnishing Leonas reputation! I'm not buying two copies of the (almost) same album :wacko: ESPECIALLY an overpriced import! I'm a poor student :) and what makes u think I won't like the american tracks? :huh: I said up above that i loved the sound of the clips!!

I really hope they step it up for the next single! They can do SO much better than Notorious....

Why would I buy an import when she is releasing a different tracklist for the UK (more dance orientated etc.)? Thats the Kelly I love so I shall be waiting to buy :P

Ok so I thought I would support Bev and buy the album, even though I wasnt too fussed on the idea of an album of covers! Havent had a chance to check the DVD out yet, but I am pleasantly surprised by the CD. Bev of course sounds fantastic, and I think it is a very cohesive album, although I would definitely say it not as good as her original material (Who I Am, Affirmation and Music City Soul are almost flawless UK Soul records for me! 100% was pretty great too!). Stand outs for me are the sublime, gospel tinged One More Try, and the rather funky Mama Used to Say. Sadly quite a few of the tracks are a tad bland and repetitive! Maybe it would have benefitted a bit more with a few more well known soul classics on there?
