They're most likely rigged but, he'd still win even if they'd been fair. "United Russia" seem to have done quite a lot of good for the ordinary Russian, and Kasparov isn't even that popular. The other parties don't even seem to have any real widespread support. Perhaps thats to do with Putin restricting TV advertising for the other parties, but who knows? Its also interesting that the government don't seem interested in changing the constitution to give Putin another term...

But saying things like as you did earlier in the thread makes you look so overly anti-muslim and so stereotypical in that respect. You don't hear about muslim men stalking young girls in the community more than "white british" males do you? This is why in this country we have "Political Correctness". In the UK we treat immigrants/foriegners reasonably well, some would say preferrential treatment, we have laws so they aren't so much discriminated against, if at all. Some of the "white british" may moan when they "stealin' all our jobs" etc but we seem to keep the immigrant community inside the UK relatively happy with the Equality laws. In France, they don't have, as such "Political Correctness", people from other ethnic minorities are more often than not discriminated in more ways than just abuse, that could include housing, employment etc. The disgruntless from all this "abuse" or "discrimination" has been brewing for a while, and as the government seems to becoming more and more anti-immigrant, it doesn't take long before trouble starts. I think as well the fact that the establishment (in this case Police) were involved in the death of the two boys gave the rioters more of a excuse to riot.

Calling Muslims "sadistics" is an incredibly linear and probably racist view to take. Muslims have different laws, culture and beliefs to us. Ok it may seem pathetic for us that she insulted their religion but, if thats the law in Sudan, its the law unfortunatly. Some people in Pakistan would be absolutely rolling on the floor laughing at us as in this country it being basicially illegal to show any national pride (e.g. having a British flag= You're a BNP member). I think its in Indonesia where it is illegal to masturbate... ok that may seem stupid to us but in Indonesia (or whereever) it is perfectly acceptable and they'd give us funny looks when they found out that over here it was OK. Although how stupid it actually is, she broke the law, and imo it would have insulted some people (if they did not know the context) and taking a literal approach to the Sudanese law, she would have been found guilty. She has got off lightly.

The Mencap Little Noise sessions have revealed a string of surprises over the last week or two and Monday night saw one more when Johnny and Andy turned up to play an impromptu acoustic show. They played 'America' and 'Before I Fall To Pieces' (with the original lyrics!) before unveiling a brand new song titled 'Hostage Of Love' to just 250 lucky fans at London's Union Chapel.
