Record Of The Year 2007
Some great choices there. :D :D

Charlotte Church Leaves SonyBMG
Let's Be Alone was amazing. I'm sure Charlotte will be back with a pop album of some description, but if she's enjoying the tv show, then it's right she focuses on that for a while. It's proving to be very successful and her duets at the end means she's still singing, and gaining herself an excellent reputation.

Early Sales Figures Sunday 26/11/06
Poor Emma. Great sales for Take That.

Remember David sneddon - fame academy winner
David was generally considered the best songwriter on Fame Academy, and although Lemar was vocally very strong, he was one of the weakest and didn't play instruments like David, Sinead and Ainsley, which I think was one of the main reasons he didn't do so well. It's easy in hind-sight to forget about all of that and blame racism, not that I'm saying it doesn't exist, because I'm sure it does. I didn't rate David as a performer and he is re-writing history ever so slightly with what happened after Fame Academy ended, but good for him if he is earning a good living within the music industry. His songs might be bland, but if it's selling it must have something going for it.

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
People are supposed to find out today if they have won tickets, but there are some fans who have only just got their email telling them how to enter. What a busy week Gareth has. He'll just be finishing up instructing that McGuire course in Bournemouth today, and now he's got a gig on Wednesday! I wonder what sort of show it will be? I hope it's a live band or acoustic rather than backing tracks.

Myleene Klass
Yeah, it did well for a classical album, but the record company were hoping for a pop album level of success. Shame.

2007's Comic Relief single is...........
It could be great. Remember one of the big objectives of a charity record is to raise the profile of the charity, and this will do that. It will be easily identifiable as the Comic Relief song. I hope they do a good job and it sells well too. Does anyone think The MacDonald Brothers will sing this on X Factor tomorrow?

TOTP Returns
I think they will. I hope they get a lot of new performances, and not just rely on stuff they filmed before.

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
Have you see the terms and conditions? There's one about how you give your permission for filming and photographs of you taken at the event to be used throughout the world forever!! LMAO. As well as being funny, do you think that means Gareth will be relaunching himself in a number of countries early on?

Take That - Everyday I Love You Less And Less
I was a bit disappointed that they are doing less Relight My Fire type songs on this album, but I understand they needed to move on. It's OK for them to sing the old favourites on tour, but if they tried to do a new video for them now they'd be laughed at. Their ballads were always a notch above the typical boyband ballad anyway.
-
All Saints - Chick Fit
I love this song, and I hope it will save the album, but Rock Steady should have propelled it higher in the charts, so what do I know? They need a proper think about how they are promoting, and bring forward the next single and get out there promoting the music and themselves as more likeable than their current image.

Take That - Everyday I Love You Less And Less
I hope so, or they might add it to iTunes.

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
Personally, I don't like the artist forums, and much prefer a general pop one. Maybe it will be different when he's back properly and there's a lot happening, but I tend to just pop in here, chart, R'n'B and only look in the others if I've got loads of time or I'm looking for specific information.

Take That - Everyday I Love You Less And Less
It was fantastic and I particularly loved Mark's verse. It suited his vocals. :D

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
It seems as if the documentary will have a fair musical content. They are doing some filming at a 'secret' gig in London next week.

Britney Spears new music...
I'm looking forward to it too, and I'm glad you posted in here, because I always forget to look in all the individual artist forums. Too many of them if you ask me.

Lily Allen Topics Before Forum
This is the first song of hers that I really got into when it was leaked months ago. I played it again and again and again. I'm a bit disappointed by the video, because the image is entirely different to everything I had imagined in my head, but thank goodness she seems to have stopped slagging everyone off. :D

Matt Willis - "Don't Let It Go To Waste"
I've not even heard the new song and the last one dropped off the radar weeks ago. Not an ideal time to release the album.
-
Emma Bunton - Downtown
I think it will make top 5 and hopefully top 3. It's not her best song to date, and the clips from her album sound better so I only want this to be a big hit because it's for Children in Need and so people don't write her off before they've heard the album.

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
I think (hope) it will be very different this time. What gets me is that after going to the effort of making that first documentary, and everything that Gareth went through on it, some bright spark at the record label still didn't seem to think it was important for Gareth to be given time to work on his speech. They must have assumed that because Spirit in the Sky was such a massive hit, that the next single and album would just fly off the shelves without any proper effort into the promotion. I know the promotion was also curtailed because Gareth fell ill after he got back from Thailand and Malaysia, but I'm sure I read someone saying that the whole promotional schedule had been planned with not one single tv or radio interview in place. Another thing I read was that Gareth had been working with a singer-songwriter called Judie Tzuke who also releases her own material on an independent label. She is planning to release one of the songs they wrote together herself, and Gareth plays piano on it. He's not just a pretty face.

Woolies charts - w/b 20th November
What?! I said it will be fascinating to see the results tomorrow, and how they tied in with the Woolies chart, which has already been published.

Date of the Gareth Gates Documentary
I read that date too and can I say I love that banner of yours. I’ll probably be out, but it’s exciting to know when it’s on and I’ll definitely be setting the video. I really can’t wait to see how Gareth and his music has developed over the last couple of years. It’ll be interesting to see how this documentary is different to the one he did before for Tonight With Trevor McDonald. For a start is seems as if this one will be an hour long, which makes it better already, lol. :cheer: If I’ve got the hang of it this time, I should be posting clips from the previous one, and maybe even in the correct order, lol! [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ng-jIWV7SI.swf [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJlrXq_tpBs.swf [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvmN4u7Gtd8.swf It seems that this time round Gareth has got his wish to have the time to work on his speech, which is long overdue.

Woolies charts - w/b 20th November
Tomorrow's chart will be fascinating. It would be great if they were right about Emma, but I think top 5 is what we should expect. I don't think Matt and/or his record label have done nearly enough for him to have a high charting album.
