  1. I have fond memories of Don't Stop Movin'. Was top 10 when I first started listening to the charts and the 2nd song I ever bought! Haven't listened to it in years though.
  2. Poor Caith Sith from FF7. I think I'm the only person who doesn't hate him with a passion
  3. "Chart Killers"- Ed Sheeran and Drake teaming up. Not even ACR or Jess Glynne could stop that being number 1 for at least 6 months.

    Is this number 1 yet?
  5. This was...a very long 47 minutes. Don't think I will be giving any of the Pharrell tracks a 2nd listen.
  6. Turkey will come back when there are 45 dated Dad Rock entries and they are guaranteed to win every year and not a moment sooner.

This year has been the worst ever for album releases for me. I've only bought 1 back in January and not really interested in anything coming up for the rest of the year.

The OCC will probably declare all songs older than a year chart ineligible as a response. :mansoncheer:
  9. The Official Charts are fast approaching fanfiction territory rather than an accurate measure of current popularity. I think this may be the first rule I see no merit in at all.
  10. Why is Three Lions number 1 on itunes? Did something happen?
  11. Awful, but I'm sure somewhere Simon Cowell is giving a standing ovation and weeping tears of joy as he listens. Until he sees the first sales figures that is.
  12. For some strange reason "I Can't Live Without Music" was one of the favourites to win that year. What an educational bop of a song from MozzarElla. I hope she returns soon to teach us about the rest of the colour wheel <3
  13. I remember Belgium being a real guilty pleasure of mine back in 2008. The performance of it on the night was awful though- dressed like a sweet wrapper and totally out of breath practically the whole way through. The staging and her vocals were a lot better at the national selection show.
  14. I actually really liked all of Monaco's 21st century efforts :kink: But then I seem to enjoy all the microstate's offerings even when they are objectively terrible.
  15. Dima Bilan vs Jacket in 2009 :kink:
  16. Lithuania, Moldova and Slovenia. Disliked them all at first but was rooting for them to do well by the time the final came around.
  17. I hope the BBC internally selects Surie next year and sends a call out to songwriters to get her a decent song. She has been a great ambassador for the UK and to have her moment ruined like that- she was probably terrfied, the guy could have had a knife in his backpack for all she knew.
  18. Putting Finland and Australia together seems like an odd choice
  19. Ukraine, Slovenia and UK strong contenders to open. Maybe Australia to close?
  20. Norway drifting way out at the bookies.
  21. Jessica may have struggled in SF1, but should be fine here. She is likely to get a high televote score as there is literally no competition from the rest of the female singers in this semi- songwise anyway.
  22. That's quite a collapse in the vote for Moldova. They were winning this by a mile last time.
  23. Jacques Houdek from Croatia last year just ripped into Salvador on Facebook-one very long rant. A snippet:
  24. Salvador is an ex Idol contestant- I don't believe he didn't know what he was getting himself into. I wish Luisa Sobral had just performed the song herself.
