Have been a huge fan for years, but was quite underwhelmed by both their Eurovision entries.

Whoever did the running order clearly a) Wants Italy to win b) Wants another all male top 10 in the televote

I think I only care about San Marino and Bulgaria from SF2. Literally every year I prefer SF1 to SF2 though for some reason.

Yes, I predict an all white all male alliance will effortlessly glide to the end like the past 15 editions probably with help from production.

Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria were all pleasant surprises. Bulgaria could be back in contention imo. I really like the Slovenian entry, but I seem to be alone there. Moldova and Malta probably had the most disappointing staging for me- was expecting so much more. Looking forward to seeing France and Italy on Thursday

Best: Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Bates Motel, Veep, The Americans, Arrow. Disappointing but not terrible: Lost, Dexter Bad: House of Cards- this show had been circling the drain for a while and there were obviously extenuating circumstances in the final season, but that ending was just nonsensical on all levels. Horrible: Game of Thrones. I didn't expect a happy ending, but I did expect an ending that was at least vaguely narratively satisfying and that made sense. Dany's sudden turn from someone who consistently acted ruthlessly towards those that harmed innocents to someone who slaughtered an entire city of innocents for no reason didn't work for me. Nor did King Bran- a boring non-character who was gifted a poorly explained, unused power he did NOTHING to earn and then gifted the throne he also did NOTHING to earn -literally the least satisfying ending to a story I could come up with me. Also, for a show that always got it's female characters so right, it left a bit of bad taste in the mouth that the show ended with all the "mad overly emotional women" being removed from power and replaced with King Bran and his council of bros in charge. I guess Sansa got to rule the North- the 4 people still alive there anyway. Sadly it is the only ending to the story we are ever going to get as Martin is clearly never going to finish it

Enya- Orinoco Flow is her number 1, but I'd say Only Time and May It Be are probably more well known now. Carrie Underwood- Her only top 100 appearances in the UK are Favourite Time of Year and I Know You Won't, which are definitely not her most well known songs or even close.

Gosh, she doesn't stop. Spoken to so many people who loved Born to Die yet seem to think she hasn't released anything since. :kink:

I do think juries are somewhat influenced by hype and bookies odds, so they might be more generous this time (assuming Norway send them). Spirit in the Sky had virtually no hype in 2019 and nobody saw it as a serious contender to win the public vote, so they felt comfortable putting it at the bottom of the rankings.

Why is 2019's Eurovision winner suddenly in the top 100?

I'm hyped for Bjorkman's inevitable 2022 Melfest Entry- an emotional ballad called 2010 with Anna Bergendahl or something. :cheer:

Doctor Who (unfortunately). Not UK shows, but the final seasons of The Man in the High Castle and Altered Carbon were also really disappointing.

Mariah returning to the North Pole until next Christmas
