As brilliant as Kate and the staging is, I don't think the song i quite strong enough to win unfortunately.

This final season is so...unbelievably bad. It's like the previous 7 seasons never happened.

I loved the fist 7 seasons of this show but this episode was so bad it made me hate every character. I suspect the ending will be even worse. I kinda want the White Walkers to come back and finish the job. Also, Varys getting all judgemental about Dany when his grand plan was to put Viserys on the throne? Sansa has been loathsome all season. Is Tyrion the biggest idiot in Westeros?

Brilliant episode, but I'm kinda surprised the white walker threat has ended with 3 episodes left. Can't say I'm really that invested in seeing the remaining characters take down Cersei and a bunch of glorified extras. George RR Martin is apparently a big fan of the "scouring of the shire" bit in Lord of the Rings that was cut from the films, so I guess it shouldn't be too surprising he has done/is planning his own version.

The RSPB song has longevity- needs to be added to Spotify playlists though. Perhaps a remix where Nicki Minaj or Swae Lee could rap in birdsong?

It takes a lot of listens for her songs to click with me but then they REALLY click. She hasn't released anything so far that I don't like.

I think there should be a way for constituents to legally trigger a by election- whether it be because their MP has been sent to jail or completely gone back on their manifesto pledges. Morally, it will be difficult for the defectors to campaign for things like a "People's vote" when they themselves are refusing to give their constituents a people's vote on them- presumably because all 11 know they would lose. Apparently 96% of people at the last election voted on party lines rather than the individual MP.

Both Labour and the Conservative parties could do with splitting. They have both reached the stage where they simply cannot contain the wide variety of views on certain key issues any longer. FPTP forces these bloated parties trying to be all things to all people. I would have some respect for "the 7" is they triggered by elections and gave their constituents a "people's vote" on them, but it seems they won't be doing so- probably because they know they would all lose.

Sam Smith- I actually find it unpleasant to listen to him. Never been a fan of Chris Martin's whiny vocals either. Cilla Black also sounds awful.
