  1. Maybe Alisha won't be able to pull off Fighter, but how will we know if she doesnt try. If she goes with an R'n'B song, the audience will expect it and it leaves her open to comparisons with too many other established R'n'B artists. Louis Walsh will no doubt hightlight this further with his trademark "You remind me of a young *insert artist name here*" saying. To be honest not many acts this year are going to be able to perform any song as good as the original, I'd just like to see them all do something not so obvious, whether thats with their song choice or the way in which they perform it. They all need to show a bit of verstility and the ability to take on a challenge rather than sticking to whats comfortable, otherwise we will end up with about 2 or 3 artists that will have a bit of success, flop on their 2nd single and be dropped within a year. The judges just need to think outside the box when it comes to song choices. I've gotta say though, the suggestion of Rhydian doing Robyn - With Every Heartbeat is genious! It will never happen on the X Factor though.

'Summer Love' has hit #1 on the US Hot 100 making it JT's 4th consecutive number 1 from a single album; 'FutureSex/LoveSounds'. He is the 1st artist to have ever achieved this, not even Michael Jackson managed it. And he is also the first artist this decade have had 5 #1's if you include 'Give It To Me'.

This is the unfinished version. The official complete video has only just premiered on 'Yahoo! Music' today but you can only watch it if you live in the US which is a bit c**p.

The video was created using a spectrogram to interpret images through the soundwaves of 'LoveStoned.' and was directed by Robert Hales (Gnarles Barkley,"Crazy"). This is the first time this method has ever been used for a video and, of course, not to disappoint the fans, JT included the Interlude "I Think She Knows."

Ive just watched the video on Smash Hits (was very surprised to see it so early on the music channels!) and I really like it. Its very different to the majority of other videos and although its very simple id consider it to more unqiue than 'dull'. The whole soundwave concept makes it a lil more interesting as well.

The video was supposedly making its UK TV premiere on GMTV sometime on friday morning, so if it doesnt get played on the music channels anymore or its it not on youtube by then, you can see it there.

Oh yeah and there isn't going to be a video for Summer Love. (Apparently)

POP superstar Justin Timberlake has loved his time in Greater Manchester so much, he's decided to shoot upcoming music videos here.

Both Justin and his r 'n' b producer cohort Timbaland have been filming at top-secret shoots in Salford in the past week.

Chart-topping solo star Justin recorded the promotional video for his latest single, Love Stoned, at Web Studios in Little Hulton on Thursday.

And last night the SexyBack singer was due at a car park off Chapel Street, Salford, to appear in Timbaland's video for his new single The Way I Are.

The results will be seen by the stars' fans across the world - putting Salford squarely in a global spotlight.

In true superstar style, Justin, or JT as he likes to be known, pulled out all the stops at Web Studios for his video.

He used a massive 600kilowatts of lighting power- the most the studios have ever used for a single shoot.

Meanwhile music video director Shane Brake jetted into Manchester from Los Angeles yesterday for the Timbaland video, which shot throughout the night in Salford and Manchester, and said both music stars have loved their time in the region.

He said: "Timbaland wanted an edgy rock `n' roll style video for this single so we chose a parking garage in Salford because of the interesting architecture and archways.

"Timbaland then wanted to end the video by driving around Manchester in a black cab.

"I think that Timbaland really sort of likes the vibe of Manchester, and it suited him to shoot his video while he was here with Justin on tour in the UK."

Shane said that Timbaland had asked a "few professional football players" down to the shoot to star in the video as well, although remained tight-lipped about their identities.

Both Timberlake and Timbaland have been enjoying their time in Manchester - so much so they decided to extend their stay in the city after Justin's two M.E.N. Arena gigs on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Justin, who has been staying at Salford's five-star Lowry Hotel, has been taking advantage of Manchester's wealth of restaurants.

He has been dining out with his new girlfriend, Hollywood star Jessica Biel, at eateries including Nandos for Portuguese, Shimla Pinks for Indian and El Rincon for Spanish tapas in the past week.

We can exclusively reveal that the next single to come from the amazing FutureSex/LoveSounds album will be...

    ...Love Stoned.

The track, already a live favourite on the US leg of the tour, will be out early summer, so keep your ears and eyes peeled for more information.

So what does everyone think then??? Best choice imo!

Its looking likely that the US will get Summer Love as the 4th single because of its growing popularity over there and then they will switch it over for the 5th single.

  7. I would of liked Susie to go back in with Grace, especially after calling her horse faced on BBLB yday, when she was stood right next to her!!! I think Nikki will possibly go back in, its obviously what the public want considering she got 63% of the vote. And considering Channel 4 got all these complaints it didnt do any harm, £250,000 goin to charity and it was got the most votes out of any other BB vote this year.
  8. She doesn't know that the 4 she evicts will be going into the main house

Yeah I know that, but if she thinks that the four she will evict will be goin home she'll keep Jonathon so he can go into the main house with her, when infact he'll be the one goin home.

  9. I want everyone but Jayne to go in, but i dont think thats gonna happen, i think she will be the first to go in the proper house. I seriously think that the irish guy is a serious contender for Pete's crown aswell. Its between Jonathon or Michael to go home imo, she'll wanna take a guy back into the main house and I think she'll keep Jonathon so she can get some lovin'
  10. I think they are gonna move all the housemates in, not just choose a few, if you think Big Bro is gonna be on till the end of August so thats another NINE WEEKS yet, movin 5 new housemates in will take the number to the original 14, that gives them 8 weeks to kick people out, then the final week will have 6 housemates, just like the final week on Celeb Big Bro. This is probably a desperate attempt to revitalise the show, but to be honest it needs it, Nikki is the only housemate worth watchin' at the moment.

No Doubt are back together and working on the follow up to 2001's 'Rock Steady.'

After bumping into Tony Kanal at T-Mobile's Sidekick III launch party in Los Angeles Tuesday night, AOL Music coaxed the bassist into revealing that three-quarters of the Southern California band are writing songs together. "We started maybe three months ago and we're just easing into it," he said. "It's Tom [Dumont], Adrian [Young] and myself going in the studio here and there, jamming."

Frontwoman Gwen Stefani put promotion for her solo album, 'Love Angel Music Baby' on hold to have son Kingston James McGregor last month with husband Gavin Rossdale. Kanal promised she will head back to life with No Doubt as soon as she is able: "So far it's just the three boys, 'cause she's on baby watch right now. When she jumps on board, we'll have a bunch of ideas already ready."

The men of No Doubt have been visiting various studios across Los Angeles as the ideas flow. "We're just jamming, no holds barred, and letting it develop by itself," Kanal said. "That's the best way for our band. If we try to control anything, it doesn't work."

No Doubt fans aren't the only ones thrilled the group is writing again. "It's really exciting for us too," Kanal said. "It's amazing. I love playing with Tom and Adrian. It's my favorite thing in the world."
