Rick has been responsible for more deaths of innocents than Cecil B De Mille killed extras!
  2. She did well indeed. I'd be really happy if Ferne or Vicki won. Vicki does make me laugh.
  3. I think I can switch allegiances to The Apprentice tonight then. I like Vicki - but the whole show is just a tad boring this year (the trials seem very easy - although Vicki's was quite arduous last night - I really do like the athletic challenges). I also like Ferne but I can't continue to watch it when there are really only two people in there I like - and those two are surrounded by blandness. I think George is a lovely lad but oh so boring. Jorgie - I find her a little sly. Keiron is almost as boring as George. Lady C was the only one making it entertaining - even though even I found her at times to be over the top. Having said all of that - there are some stories going round (and they could be just that - stories) that Lady C was being bullied herself by Hadley and Bannatyne - and that it was only her retaliations that were seen and the 'get out on medical grounds' was just a cover! As I said - you don't know what to believe.
  4. I thought Chris was a lovely addition to the camp. As much as I detest Duncan - as long as Lady C is in there ... I want him to be in there as well so he can continue to be tormented. For some reason before the show started - I thought I'd like Duncan - but he's been a total bore. He really ought to thank Lady C (as should Hadley) - because without her - he'd/they'd have no airtime at all! I just want Vicky to win now. If not Vicky - Ferne. No-one else deserves it.
  5. Yes - I meant to include George in the 'nice' camp. Seems genuine enough. 'Nice' alone doesn't make good TV though I suppose.
  6. I don't think for a minute Hadley had any regard for that beetle - he just wanted to provoke Lady C into doing what she does best! In a way - she's the only one in there who is being herself. She just can't hold back. Having said that ... I'm not sure I'd like to be a member of staff in her household ... but she is making this series of IAC interesting. Some of them in there are nice (Chris, Keiron, Ferne) but there is no-one in there who is actually interesting (or not being interesting on this show).
  7.   It was the way she threw the 'you aren't even a particularly good singer' line in as an aside that was hilarious!
  8. Jorgie showing her really bitchy side there with King Bitch Brian! Still - its an improvement on the little girl lost / cry baby routine she has displayed until now. Can't believe I used to like her at the beginning.

You know at the time I thought that season 2 was a tad boring. Looking at the show now - I look longingly back at those days!

I'm assuming the Morgan / Rick relationship must be integral to the graphic novels (which I haven't read) and there must be a lot of love for Morgan - but as far as the TV series goes I just don't get it. You hardly know he's there. And the episode with the goat-keeping peace-keeper - they killed the wrong guy. Daryl is long past his sell-by date as well. I honestly don't know why I still watch it - I really don't - apart from Carol being totally watchable in every scene she's in.
  11. I truly think he was befuddled rather than lying! I think he saw the pink as purple (fairly understandable) and when he got that stuck in his head he thought he'd said Duncan. I think those slaughtering him on twitter (spit, spit, spit ... twitter is just shite) just don't like the guy!
  12. Those three for me are some of the weakest (despite the fact that I was rooting for Jorgie at the beginning). Duncan is a grade A w*n**r! Was surprised Susannah went tonight. I didn't necessarily care for her that much ... but was hoping Yvette or Tony would be dispatched! I seriously doubt Chris was second lowest with the votes ... the 'it might be you' was obviously there just for effect (tomorrow he won't even be anywhere near in danger - and quite rightly so!) I even warmed ever so slightly to Brian tonight. Lady C is a huge conundrum! Love her one minute - can't stand her the next - but this series would have been one of the most boring without her for sure!
  13. In total agreement regarding Hadley. He is such a useless lump of lard as well! I actually missed the whole bellboy/chambermaid-gate affair as I was out. With regard to the dingo dollars - did they lose ones that they'd already accumulated as well - or did they just not win dingo dollars for Hadley and Porter not doing the task?
  14. You don't know how lucky you are not to know or remember who Tony 'The Voice' Hadley is!
  15. Watched a film last week that I was fairly impressed with 'Bone Tomahawk' with Kurt Russell, David Arquette and Patrick Wilson. A sort of western / horror. It didn't actually have much horror - more western and because of that it made the horror bits even more horrific (one scene in particular). Very witty script though - and not predictable in the 'I bet he doesn't make it to the end' stakes.
  16. How frigging easy was that task for Brian. Did he have it written into his contract that he would only do piss-easy tasks. Lady C was spot-on when she described that waste of space!
  17. Friggin' hell! IAC is really kicking off at the moment. Lady C is tearing new arseholes for Brian Friedman and Tony 'The Voice' Hadley! I like her a lot!

So hope John Middleton gets some recognition when awards season comes around - he's playing this role absolutely brilliantly. I was almost crying tonight!!!!
  19. Hey - forgot to tell you all - I was on The Chase last week! Didn't win - but got 5,000 in my cash-builder and got back to the final chase. We were beaten by Mark 'The Beast' Labett with just two seconds to go! Absolutely gutted! But had a great day and met Bradley Walsh as well so it wasn't all that bad! At least I can say I've been on the telly!
  20. Feel so sorry for some genuine fans. There's a guy on DS says he tried for tickets straight away (not sure which venue) but they were gone very quickly - when he was searching later - tickets were being sold on via a secondary site for around £500. I suppose I was lucky with Liverpool. I didn't start looking until about 9.05 on Friday and got a good seat (barring the person in front of me being a giant!) I even went on out of curiosity later on and there were still tickets a lot further back (they're all gone now of course).

I honestly don't think that Daryl would be missed if they did kill him off now. A few series ago maybe - but you overestimate Norman Reedus's fanbase. You're right in that there would be much gnashing of teeth on the internet - but I doubt the series would suffer too much (with regard to viewers). Don't get me wrong - he was the main reason I started watching TWD but I've just become so interested in other characters lately (as Daryl has done nothing since the beginning of this series) that I certainly wouldn't miss him. Carol does it for me now - I think if she was killed off I would lose all interest and Abraham is far likable than Daryl at the moment. Aaron is a good addition too. If anything is contributing to a loss of viewers (I believe the figures for this series are down - only natural I suppose for a series that has gone on as long as it has) its the rather poor writing.

Actually I did watch it - but it was shite! Glad you enjoyed it though. Edit - actually it wasn't shite - I just didn't enjoy it at all. I did like DA at one time but right now I find any of the soaps superior in both writing and acting.
  23. Well I got my ticket to see Jeff!!!! In the front block as well!
  24. I don't want to go unless I'm sat in the front blocks - and they're £120 each for the Echo Arena! Plus - it says the layout may change - may start off thinking I've got great seats and may well end up not as well as I thought they were! I know that ELO IS Jeff Lynne - but I really had hoped that maybe we'd have a few of the others there in addition to Richard Tandy. It would have been good to see Bev Bevan, Mik Kaminski, Melvyn Gale (swoon when I was 18) and Hugh McDowell. And .. sadly Kelly Groucutt died a few years back.
  25. He'll be 68 in December! He does look good though. To be honest - I can't even try to get tickets - I've got to go to work tomorrow so I'll miss out - I'm assuming all tickets will be sold out within half an hour. I think to be honest though - at my age - I shouldn't really be wasting money on concerts anymore! I need to put some money away for holidays.
